Service was a bit slow, but not bad. Food came out quickly. Nice and clean. We ordered the Buddha sampler, which was delicious. Also the wonton soup had excellent flavor. The satay chicken was cooked nicely, and was very tender. Would definitely recommend.

The food is not authentic but okay. The staffs are nice but talk too much and they were not present when I needed.

Went on a Wednesday night with a friend for dinner, and everything was perfect. From the timing of all of our dishes to our waiter, we had no complaints. The food was hot. Wine service was great. The atmosphere is quiet, but we preferred it that way as we were able to have a full conversation without having to shout at each other. Highly recommend for a nice and relaxed dinner!

The wonton soup is the best in Jacksonville – loaded with wontons, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. The broth is so flavorful. The Royal Pad Thai and Panang Curry are also delicious. Such a relaxing atmosphere. We drive 20 miles just for this Thai food. No other Thai restaurant in Jax compares to this food. We have eaten here over the past 10 years and it is delicious every time.

Brilliant find on JAX beach – food was very good and nice drinks out of Buddhas belly – recommend the Hawaiian fried rice and the White Buddha drink

The Buddha Thai Bistro restaurant is near the back of a shopping center and would be easy to miss. The exterior is not ostentatious or even eye catching. But, for anyone who wants to experience a good Thai restaurant, taking the time to locate it is worth the trouble.

My friends and I really enjoyed the food. In addition to the plates in the pictures, we tried the sampler appetizer and Tom Kha Gai soup.

Best Thai in Jacksonville so far. Curry had lots of flavor and the ribs were falling off the bone in a uniquely delicious sauce. Knowledgeable and professional waitress who made the dining experience a delight.

Good but not great. I HAD a 3 on heat scale and after 2 bites it tasted regular like the hot part was on top..ijs but price wise it was good. We sat at the bar and our bar tender was very nice and knowledgeable.

I’ve gone here on/off for a year usually coming on my lunch break. I went one night with my friend and service was just ok. There was a caucasian guy at the bar that made some weird black joke and when I looked over, him and a couple of other ladies were laughing, looking at my table. Me and my friend are black btw. But we ignored it because we were not positive what it was about. Our appetizers came out, I got the fried tofu which was gross. My friend got lettuce wraps that had chopped chicken and shrimp, which he loved. Where it went totally wrong is when our main meals came out, I took my fork and went into the rice, there was literally a dead insect in the center of the rice. Almost seemed like it was placed right in the center. The rice was in a shape like a bowl upside down and the insect was in the very center. I immediately had our server and host come over to witness this. They took my plate and said they will get me a new one. I was like ” no I lost my appetite.” Another lady came and apologized. She didn’t introduce herself so I am assuming she was the manager. She compted the entire meal and said next time I come they would give me a free meal. She never took my name down or anything to assure I’d get that free meal if I come in on a day she’s not there. Unfortunately they have lost a customer forever. Dead bugs in food cannot be washed over for me. The bug looked steamed like it fell in the pot of steamed rice maybe, idk, but it ruined our appetite. My friend didn’t even touch his meal after seeing the bug in my food.
