A hidden gem! Our friends invited us there since we just moved to Andalusia. Oh my goodness! We had the best fresh fish, shrimp in garlic sauce over pasta cooked perfectly, and flat iron steak that melted in your mouth. Homemade blueberry cobbler with ice cream to die for ended a wonderful dining experience. We walked out on the dock to see a beautiful sunset. The dedicated owners greeted and served us with smiles and great conversation. We can’t wait to share another excellent meal with family and friends. Bravo!

We had a great experience Saturday afternoon. We each got one of the Specials and they were both delicious. The blackened grouper was wonderful even without the Ettoufee which was good also. Lots of food so we even took some home to enjoy the next day. We thought the homemade blueberry cobbler made with cream cheese and served with ice cream was yummy too! We look forward to returning and trying more dishes. A walk out on the dock is a nice treat to add to the laid back atmosphere. You can even dock your boat if you’re on the water for the day.

Such a GREAT HIDDEN GEM – nothing disappoints! The food & atmosphere are perfect. Watching the sunset on the lake and walking the grounds in between courses was magnificent. The potato croquettes are a MUST! Fried green tomatoes like my great grandmother made! There’s love in their food! The filet was perfectly cooked and had a great wood fired flavor. The staff are so welcoming and sweet and everything is so clean and pristine. Hands down our favorite place to grab a nice relaxing dinner. Don’t pass this family owned restaurant by! We ❤️ The Buckboard!
