This place is constantly busy and it’s obvious why. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the crab cake, crab Mac and cheese and halibut tacos. All were super fresh and delicious, however the halibut tacos were a tad overcooked and dry.

The clams today (my first time at this restaurant) were the best clam I’ve ever had, and the prawns was great too! We plan on going back tomorrow to try the crab. The atmosphere and vibes are very casual outdoor picnic ones, so bring layers! This restaurant is a true five out of five, I would highly recommend coming if you have any interest in eating seafood.

I love BB Shellfish. It’s always fresh and delicious. I love that you can learn the names of the fishermen responsible for the catch. We waited in line for an hour and it was the most pleasant wait. Everyone in the vicinity is happy and just glad to be there. The vibe is infectious.

Hidden gem found while looking for e-bike charging station (on premises). Outdoor seating either under tent or under the trees. Food was excellent and service was nice. A wonderful, surprise lunch spot. Fried oysters were amazing, halibut tacos were very nice, green salad with grilled halibut was refreshing, and salmon sliders perfect for our teen. Everything tasted fresh. Well worth the bike ride.

Excellent fresh seafood in a casual environment. Another favorite on Orcas Is. Outdoor seating shaded under willow trees, a diverse menu of fresh seafood, much of it taken straight from their live tanks or self owned oyster farm in the adjacent bay. Also a boutique market for local products. Be sure to not miss it with their relatively early closing time of 6pm. Highly recommend.

Great clams in white wine, garlic and chilli , fried halibut and chips with excellent batter and tartare sauce and good mixed seafood salad on brioche. Generous portions, friendly atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices. As unpretentious as it is delicious. Highly recommended.

Eating fresh seafood outside at a picnic table, under the shade a willow tree or awning with a view of the bay is pretty hard to beat. The steamer clams are outstanding, and the crab mac & cheese provides a generous amount of crab. The fried oysters are not typical in that their coating is a fairly hearty breading, and rather than tartar sauce or aioli, there is a spicy Cajun dip. There is a decent selection of beer, cider and select cocktails. The staff is friendly, the environment is casual, with coupes, families, and pets welcome. Parking is limited so if you go during off-peak hours, it’s a great place to have a sunny outdoor meal on Orcas!

Ordered steamed clams, half dozen oysters, and salad. All pretty refreshing but biggest outperformer is the steamed clams. Very good when eaten with the juice. Oysters were good but not as good as I’d thought. Either way this place is worth a stop for any ody here.

The fresh oysters were amazing! The mignonette was interesting, it seemed to be fermented. The Island roll was great as well. Highly recommend coming hear even if it’s out of your way!
