My husband and I just moved to sc from Florida and we have been looking for good local food dinning and I have to say this place was amazing! From the moment we entered the establishment the staff was super friendly and I believe we were greeted by the owner who was super nice and friendly. I was recommended to try the shrimp and grits and since I love shrimp I had to try it and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic and worth the hype. My husband got the chicken and sausage gravy and he loved it said the biscuits were the best he’s had. Definitely come on an empty stomach because serving sizes are plentiful. Will definitely be coming again glad to have found this gem. Keep up the good work, the amazing food, and the great service and u will have a forever customer

Hands down the best sausage gravy I’ve ever had! (I’ve had a lot!). The biscuit and gravy with egg was off the charts, so great. My daughters thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. Great people, cool spot, AMAZING food.

Fabulous little southern breakfast spot in the Main Street district of Lexington. Incredible fresh house made crumbly biscuits (or grits or bagels) topped with ham, chicken, and other proteins with various sauces and toppings. Choose a special menu item or make your own. Sweet biscuits too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly owners and staff.

This place is great. The food was delicious. It did not take long for them to get the food out to us. The place is a little small so they can’t seat very many people inside or outside. But like I said the food is amazing

My husband and I was here today or should I say this morning best breakfast. Oh my simply amazing. I had the shrimp and grits, absolutely phenomenal, and my husband had a build your own place biscuit and gravy, with other things, added, and a side of grits. You got to have the grits and the signature biscuit. Oh my goodness just go oh, and let me say this to customer service is absolutely amazing, great I love this place

We paid $44 for two biscuits and a coffee. I was greeted politely and in the middle of her explaining the way bubbas works she stopped mid sentence to then start her greet on the next person…. I never did hear the rest of her spill. It was busy though so I found it funny. When ordering I asked for help and the cashier did oblige. I asked for an iced coffee though was disappointed when I had to figure out on my own that there was only hot coffee. I feel like she could have let me know what was and was not available. After 12 years in the restaurant business I will not judge on the outside appearance of the shop, but I will judge the kitchen and I was concerned with cleanliness and hand washing. Smiles were all around from the staff but that doesn’t make up for poor quality food. The plates we were given were covered in grease – I get it it happens. The biscuit was flavorless and already broke into separate pieces. So it was more of a fork and knife situation. The chicken breast size was worth the money especially if you’re really hungry but for me it was very rubbery and not flavorful. I was told by the greeter that the potatoes were one of the best and there tossed in the best Cajun seasoning. However the potatoes were completely plain. The avocado was over ripped and brown (it’s labeled as a spread though it was just chunks of avocado on the side of my biscuits) and this is not a Jack of all trades but my tomato was soured. I appreciate what Im guessing was the owner, who came by the table and asked how everything was. At this point I hadn’t opened my bowl to start eating yet or I probably would of addressed to get a new tomato at the least. We just threw the food away I understand the business is around 2 years old and has beloved regulars. It was just a miss for us.

Pleasant experience. Grateful to have made it when we did. We were the last customers for the day, due to technology issues.
