This is a counter service BBQ restaurant. We stopped in late on a Saturday night, not busy at all. The food was fresh and zesty. Both the brisket and pulled pork BBQ were hearty and flavorful, so there was no need to add any more sauces. You have the option of a small cup of cole slaw for the sandwiches. They serve hearty onion rings. The hush puppies are more generic and fluffy. The staff was friendly enough. The dining area was clean enough. It has more of a cafeteria vibe. Good place to take the family. There are many menu options to choose from.

We tried the Sunday all you can eat buffet. I think it was $18.99 a person. They have a good amount of choices available. Pulled and chopped pork, wings, fried chicken, sliced sausage, hush puppies, Brunswick stew, chicken and dumplings, green beans, bbq beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, chicken salad.

What the franks!? Why haven’t I been here before?? The fried okra was amazing. The ribs were amazing!! The hubs brought this home and I was so busy thinking, “I gotta write a review!” that I got back in my car to pick the kids up with my slippers on! Good luck eating an entire tray. First I must say we had some amazing customer service! The food was pretty awesome as well! The only thing I would say was that I was 50% sure I was eating a once frozen cheeseburger. Aside from that, everything was delicious and fresh.

Don’t waste your money! This is the worst barbecue on planet earth. Got the brisket which looked like dog food. It tasted awful. The sausage was burned and tasted awful as well. Atmosphere was terrible and servers looked sloppy. Mission Barbecue is much better. Take your money there. I would have posted zero stars but it likely would not let me post zero stars.

Looking to try something different, we visited Frank N Bubba’s. That turned out to be a mistake. First we walked in and there was NO ONE in sight. A gentleman came from the back and just looked at us. I was interested in the nachos, but wondered what was on them as the menu didn’t say. The young man just looked at me… then turned like he was looking for someone. A moment of uncomfortable silence and another young man, with food in his beard, came from the back. He explained what was on them. I stated I would try them… he then said, “oh, wait, let me make sure we have the chips”. It took him a moment to figure this out, and they were out of chips.

SUPER DRY. Even when I asked for extra sauce in sandwich AND on side. Extra sauce wasn’t included in my delivery. Had to add a ton of franks hot sauce to get flavor. Sweet tea had even less flavor. BBQ was less than average. Very disappointed.
