I’ve been here a couple times while staying in the area for business. I mainly frequented the upstairs bar. The restaurant closes early, but so do most places around here. The bar is open til 2am, and I think you can order food from downstairs after the restaurant has closed. I’ve eaten here previously, and remembered that it was standard TexMex, not great but not horrible. The bartenders upstairs are friendly and attentive. I just had beer so can’t speak to their mixed drink pours. They have plenty of distractions, pool, darts, video golf, large tvs/projectors and group seating galore. Seems like the local catch all hangout spot, as the crowd is fairly diverse in age, gender and ethnicity. It’s a super cool and convenient place as it’s right behind the hotel I usually stay in and is a 5 min walk through the parking lot. I’ll definitely come back if I find myself here again.

We had a really nice meal there last week. We’ve been here before, but have been away, so we always hope it is still a good place to eat a casual lunch. Our server, Jacob was friendly and efficient, asking if everything was all right.

It’s just a little mexican restaurant. There’s nothing really inspired here and the best thing they have is the service itself. Chips and salsa are okay, queso okay. The location is so so. I would come again if I had the chance to try other items on the menu.

We’ve been going to Bubba’s and enjoying their foof for so many years. Their food quality and quantity had waned during the Pandemic, so we hadn’t gone as often. We stopped in for lunch today and it was the best it’s been in a long time. My husband had two Carne Asada tacos, which he loved and I had one Ahi and one Grilled Fish Taco and they were fantastic. They were so packed with ingredients, I couldn’t finish the second. The Salsa wasn’t spicy enough, but was good. They had a small band playing and although they were too loud when one is seated in the outdoor area, they were very good!

Wow! Delicious food, friendly service, great price, and fun atmosphere! We went to Bubba Garcia’s after a very small family wedding a few months ago; and they set up a buffet of tacos and fajitas that was scrumptious! The staff treated everyone from the youngest to oldest with respect and friendliness. Our gluten free and vegan guests had no issues finding plenty to eat; and the Braves game was on in the background! They set up a small room for us; and we were able to eat, visit, and socialize as long as we wanted with no pressure to wrap it up. We will definitely be back whenever we’re at the Island and can’t recommend this place highly enough!
