LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! My hubster and I went for lunch. The atmosphere is soo creative. There are plenty of tables of various sizes. Some of the tables are stationed inside of former jail cells which lends itself nicely to the vibe. The service was great. The cashier/server was friendly, knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of chips w/ queso. The hubster ordered the variety tacos. The brisket was tender, fell apart easily and nicely seasoned. The chips w/ queso were AWESOME. They tasted like homemade Doritos but better. My hubster loved his tacos and had no complaints. So, if you’re looking for a chill place with great food, definitely try Pokotok.

Cool set up, it is in an old police station. We ate in one of the old cells. Service was great! The person who took our order was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious! Best birria I have had!! The fries were good and an amazing portion size. The tacos were also tasty. We did realize that we were overcharged which is a bit disappointing but I know they just opened and it was a mistake.

Was blown away by how fresh and delicious the food was. We got the Birria fries, carnitas tacos, and the street corn taco (which is a super amazing vegetarian option).

Exceptionally friendly people, delicious food and a beautiful outdoor space. The inside seating is constructed from a converted jail house, which is amazing. It’s also connected to an art gallery you can browse while waiting for your food! The nice woman working the window convinced me to try the veggie taco and I’m glad she did. This is a hidden gem for sure.

This is hard to share, but I won’t lie to you. This place makes better brisket than me. This place makes the best brisket in St. Louis. All of the food is excellent, and the salsa verde is the best I’ve ever had, but I won’t be able to look my wife in the eyes anymore after my brisket was beaten.

Went there with my fiancé for lunch. I absolutely love tacos and these did not disappoint. I had the birria and smoked corned beef. They were excellent. I’m still craving them with a full belly hours later. I will definitely be back to try the other options. My fiancé is vegetarian and tried the jackfruit and street corn tacos. She
