If you want a fresh, home-cooked southern meal, come here!! Everything is great. From the fried chicken plates to the hamburger and gravy to the red beans and rice… freaking delicious!! One note, the fried chicken takes about 15 min to cook fresh to order so give it time. The people who own this restaurant are amazing and Incredibly friendly as well!! We will definitely be coming back

Brown Skillet is an awesome restaurant. From the food(delicious! Both breakfast and lunch), the atmosphere(it is so clean!), the service(they make sure you feel welcome and want to stay for awhile), and the prices(reasonable), they make you want to continue to patronize them. The lemonade: oh em gee! That’s not the only reason I keep going back but it’s the main reason.

Absolutely fantastic! My husband and I went there for the first time today and we were incredibly impressed. Your warmly welcomed immediately, the staff offered recommendations for us and treated us with such kindness. The food, was so good. The grits, pancakes, sausage and bacon all amazing!
