Love a good lobster roll and tater tots. Always walk past this place so decided to try it out. Overall the lobster roll although didn’t have the best presentation, it still overall tasted really good. The tater tots in the other hand were average. Not really much to it and huge pieces of cheese.

First time here and I’m really glad I stopped in. I’ve been craving a lobster roll for the past 2 months and finally said to myself JUST DO IT. Served Connecticut style, meaning no mayo (I hate mayo), this roll hit all the spots. Buttery, bordering on almost too buttery, but I rose to the challenge lol. Lobster meat was succulent and sweet. The bread was phenomenal, toasted to perfection to give that slight crunch. Chef’s kiss! Came with parm truffle tots, if you’re with that. I also got their gingeraid, which was like a heavy gingy with a splash of citrus…that might be my new fave. Service was great, friendly, informative. Can’t wait to go back!

Brown Bag Seafood is a new restaurant opened up in Southend. Their order placing style resembled Which With where you need to pick up a menu, circle on the choices. They have a lot of choices available starting from portion, protein, seasoning, type of wrap etc. I tried Grilled Shrimp Sandwich with potato tots. The shrimps were grilled just perfect. Portion was good for one person. They made potato tots were too dry. But tasted good with ranch. They do serve as well.

The restaurant is very clean and the staff was warm, friendly and helpful. The food, however, was barely ok. Both dishes were very, very greasy. The shrimp and grits were literally swimming in oil (see photo). The fountain soda was weak. Not worth the $48 (tip included).

New Seafood spot located in Southend. The concept of Quick, Fresh, substantial seafood was a plus. Crew members were friendly and the food was cooked to perfection. FYI Brown Bag Seafood is Cashless. Try the Grilled Salmon and The Shrimp. The Grains and Greens Combo didn’t miss!

Fun , new place in Southend! Different menu with a fun way to mark your choice on the dry erase board! Whitney was the cutest, and most helpful. She recommended the lobster roll and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend and ask for Whitney if you don’t know what to get! 10/10 will be back!
