I started on my food then decided I would leave a review so I took a picture. The food was great, good portions and good price. I got the 2 meat plate with 2 servings of brisket, macarroni and mashed potatoes. We went on a Tuesday evening it was a little empty but perfect for us. The staff were great, very attentive. We got our food fast and ate it upstairs. We enjoyed feeling like we were eating in someone’s dining room. The couches upstairs are also very comfortable.

This place isn’t going to be competing in any barbecue competitions in the state, but it was an absolutely solid and delicious plate of food. I’ve had better barbecue, but I’ve had a lot worse too.

We had the brisket sandwich plates. The brisket was delicious! Mac n’ cheese and green beans rounded out the plates. All of it was good. The building is also cool with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

First time eating here and I enjoyed my meal. Got the 2 meat plate with beans and potato salad. The beans were tasty but the potato salad did not taste homemade. It tasted like the deli potato salad that you get from sysco. Lucky for them I actually like that kind of potato salad. I may be wrong about it and if I am then my apologies, but the tounge doesnt lie. I know that taste anywhere.

Let’s begin with what we loved. The St. Louis ribs were outstanding. Tender, juicy, a touch of heat. We really liked the bbq sauce. Sweet up front and heat in the back. Just a great job. The regular and Jalapeño sausage hit the mark. Sides…beans and green beans were good. Freaking loved the potato salad. Wow. And for that corn dish you had that day, it was inedible.

Fast service, brisket sandwich is juicy and flavorful, potato salad is amazing! When you go upstairs it’s such a different vibe like you’re literally in someone’s house. And LOVE the balcony on a nice outdoor weather.

I reviewed about a month ago and gave an amazing review since then I’ve been back twice. My experiences were good until today… I had to update my review because the food was not up to the normal standard. I hope it’s just a fluke but I won’t be back to find out. My Mac n cheese was bland. The street corn was just okay… felt like a bowl of Mayo. Finally, the sandwich. I asked for 3 sides of pickles and got one. I could’ve accepted all of the above, until I got to the sandwich. I ordered the chicken which was full of hard pieces. Then to top it off i found a small bone in my food. I think this is unexceptionable especially for a slow Monday night…
