Walked in with high expectations being from the inner city in the Bronx. I’ve seen my share of pretend NY pizza. Not here!! It blew me away! But man oh man, those freakin’ garlic rolls!! Stole the show for me!! All around the food was excellent! Also had the Italian sandwich and it was amazing in Flav! Good job carrying the Bronx torch and actually elevating it! Oh, ashout out to the service! And the meatballs! Eat the meatballs!

I’m usually not into franchise restaurants, so I’m glad I ventured outside of my comfort zone and checked out this place. The Bronx House at the Hammock is awesome! It’s got a classy, rustic atmosphere with a nice bar, (I like eating at the bar). The staff is magnificent and the food is great, including their gluten free pizza on a cauliflower crust, (shown in my pics).

They say it’s in the water … guess what, it really is. I’ve never had pizza with imported New York water as a key ingredient. Bronx House made a believer out of me immediately after my first few bites. The Detroit Pan Pizza, garlic knots, and custom salads are spectacular. I’m excited to try the other menu items as well. The staff & cooks are exceptional at this new establishment and go out of their way the ensure the customer has an excellent dining experience. The atmosphere and location have a cool laid back vibe and are not in the hustle and bustle commercial district either. Do yourself a favor and go give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

2023-08-01: This is a nice little sports bar type atmosphere with TVs playing sports. We had the garlic knots, and two New York style pizzas…the “Butcher Shop” and the “Popeye.” Both were delicious.

I’m not from the area. Tried this on the recommendation of friends. We ordered take out. The pizza was very good. We had the Hot 97. I thought it could use some sauce. But my husband absolutely loved it. I was excited they had burrata on the menu and when I called I asked if it came with any bread or something for dipping because the menu didn’t say. She wasn’t sure and had to ask. When she came back she said yes. So I ordered it. It came with two tiny wedges of bread. The ratio of cheese and strawberry compote to bread was stupid. We needed much more bread. It’s a pizza place. And dough costs like nothing. Why so stingy on the bread???

If you like staples in your food, this is the place for you! We went on Sat afternoon, and they had plenty of servers but not enough chefs. We ordered 1 sandwich, wings, garlic knots, and a few drinks. We got our drinks quickly, but after a very long wait, we finally got our food (one couple came in after us and left before us). My mother almost bit into staples!!! Why were there staples in the bread or near the food prep area at all?! Angela was very apologetic and offered to comp the sandwich. However, no apology was made by a manager. Angela put in the order for a new sandwich, and I saw them start other people’s orders before even attempting to replace the sandwich. After such a long wait, my mom couldn’t wait any longer and shared my garlic knots as her meal. We had to leave without getting a replacement sandwich since we told them several times we were on a time crunch. We were shocked that they charged for our meal, but they did take her sandwich off the bill. We respect small businesses and paid regardless of how upset we were, especially since we did eat (carefully) the garlic knots and wings. Special shout out to Angela, though, for trying her best to make a horrible situation better.

We were so excited to see Bronx House being built and couldn’t wait for it to open. We were not disappointed!!! It is delicious! We have been in several times. The food is great! The staff is great! Gabriella and Dakota are wonderful! Every visit has been over the top.

Omg! If you’re in the mood for some great Italian food, this is the place to go! We are originally from NY and couldn’t find a place here in Flagler/Palm Coast that we enjoyed… until we stumbled upon Bronx House near the Hammocks!
