Enjoying the chicken cordon bleu sandwich $12.95. I really enjoyed the flavors and seasoned waffle fries. The restaurant overlooks the lake. I’m currently here on a Tuesday and the kitchen is open 11-2pm. Service was super-fast.

First time here. It was very clean, and neat place to eat. We would have eaten outdoors but it was just too hot. But indoors was nice, too. You can still see outdoors, overlooking the water. Food was great and our waitress was wonderful.

I phoned the restaurant in advance and asked if they could accommodate a group of 18 motorcyclists. They assured us that they could. I phoned from our last stop and gave server Gracie our menu orders when we were 20 mins away.

While attending a meeting my husband and I had a wonderful dinner. The server Roma was a delight, sharing tons of local history and information .

Be forewarned, the restaurant has major service related issues. We called hour in advance and were told to come down. We drove 40 minutes to be told that there wasnt seating available.

Visited for lunch after touring Malibar Farms. Glad we didn’t let the previous review sway us. We wanted to eat here for the wonderful view since my Mother and Father-in-law are here from Texas. We didn’t realize they close at 2 for lunch and walked in at 1:10. We were told to come on in and received the best service from Carla. We didn’t feel rushed and our food came quickly and cooked to perfection. Really appreciated the extra efforts that made our visit a memorable one.

On our return to the lodge from a previous very favorable stay years ago, we found that both the Broomfield dinning room as well as the lounge were so severely understaffed that we could not dine at either. The restaurant was operating but after a very long wait at the hostess desk, we were told that they were not currently seating because they were so short staffed. About 20% of the tables were in use. The lounge did not open because of no staffing available. So here we are, stuck out in the woods, needing to drive to not so nearby towns for meals. Unfortunately it is very similar to businesses across the country in this time period in America.

Two of us ate 2 dinners and a breakfast and these were some if the hottest meals we have eaten at a restaurant. All servers were friendly and attentive. This time must be very difficult not knowing how many customers you may have. It was distanced and the view was great. We stayed a Thursday and Friday so the weekend was getting busier. The food was very good.Burgers and fries very good. Very large servings for everything I saw coming out. All patrons I saw were very happy with their food.

Lisa is the most unfriendly manager in the region. If she is your host, I want to greatly apologize for your experience. There’s no reason she should be so demeaning to the staff around her, or better yet, the guests. Please highly consider additional hospitality training for her or consider terminating her employment. I’ve never been so disgusted with someone’s snarkiness or disregard for basic human respect she should not be speaking illy of her other subordinates. Alexis, I love you and you were so sweet. The way you swiftly took reservations under pressure and with such a kind heart, I hope you remain a while.
