A 4 star breakfast experience in Brunswick. The restaurant we wanted to go to is closed on Monday’s so we decided to try this place out. Breakfast for 3 with two glasses of orange juice, 2 omelets, an egg sandwich and an order of blueberry pancakes was $55 without tip. Really nice spot right on Main street, extremely good food, and the nicest wait staff around. Order decaf and be prepared for the “Feaux-Joe” dad joke every single time. Glorious. Like most businesses, they are super short staffed in the kitchen, so the wait for food is always bare minimum 20 minutes, but it’s definitely worth it.

I have been here a few times and the food was excellent like always and the staff was friendly, however this time service was a bit lacking even though staffing looked fine for business. I am an easy customer and I was by myself, I ordered right away. The waitress forgot my drinks (coffee and water) she finally brought the coffee after a while had passed and seemed to notice I had no beverages. I was only asked if I wanted a coffee refilled once, shortly after getting my coffee. After bringing my food, I never saw my waitress again. I had an empty coffee cup when my food came but the plate was set down and she was off before I could ask for a refill. I had also wanted to order an extra biscuit because I love them here, but never saw my waitress. I paid at the counter after sitting at my table with empty plate and cup for almost 10 min. I hate to complain, and the food is really good, but I just wanted to let them know that at least one stop by a table after getting food would be most appreciated.

“You’ll never go wrong with a breakfast here.” I wrote that for years ago. Vegan, gluten-free, special requests–they take it all in stride. I chose Broadway Deli for my birthday breakfast. Great food. Missed Nancy but she trains her staff in great customer service. Need to return to Thursday breakfast at Broadway Deli.

This placed has diminished in both service and quality. We have gone from ordering once or more a week to a rare visit. The last time we went we were never given menus and after 20 minutes of waiting for a waiter/waitress we just left. The food portions have gotten smaller and the oil they use to cook in often tastes rancid. A disappointment because this was one of the best breakfast places in Brunswick but we won’t be returning.

Broadway Deli offers a homey dining experience. While it is part diner, it also feels part cafe. The food offerings are more nuanced than you will find at your standard diner. I enjoyed the eggs with corn beef hash. The coffee was better than standard diner coffee. The atmosphere also more resembles a cafe. Server staff were pleasant and the food was filling. I would return and would also like to try to lunch.

Saturday morning 751. I walk in the open door, emphasize open door and the extremely rude person inside shoos me away. “We’ll be open in 10 minutes“. He couldn’t muster the kindness or customer appreciation to just let me sit down and maybe give me a glass of water. Never again.
