We had a fantastic dining experience! The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The sommelier did a great job explaining the wine pairings. The food was a delicious and several courses were phenomenal. The plates were balanced and demonstrated a refined subtlety while being flavorful and complex. We had such a fun experience trying so many different foods and wines. Our server, Cameron, was outstanding—very knowledgeable, perfectly attentive and a pleasure to deal with. The sommelier picked interesting wines and gave us excellent information and insight on them. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable experience.

While I have never had the pleasure of having dinner at Broadcloth, I have been to the bar for cocktails and eats quite a few times. The atmosphere at Broadcloth is quite inviting, cozy, and comfortable. The leather and wood accents provide warmth.

Our dinner experience here was such a treat — delicious food, great staff (Michael, thank you!), thoughtful & tasty cocktails, all in a very nicely done building. We chose the wine pairings with both a 4-course & 6-course meal, and were blown away by the spring vegetable salad, cold smoked scallops, crab, and chocolate dessert especially, although nothing disappointed. The flavors & presentations of all the dishes show Chef Yoder’s incredible talent, and the bar pairings were spot on. This is a hidden gem in Cville! We’ll absolutely be back.

A very special meal. We went with the chefs tasting menu and it was a delicious journey. Scallops were carmelized to perfection, sweetness playing off the tang of smoky buttery fresh tomato. A salad of fresh vegetables, each bite a summer treat, was topped with cocoa crumble to set it off. Duck drumsticks to start were crunchy with soy miso glaze on the outside, fall off the bone tender inside. Trout, roasted to perfection on a smoky sauce. Juicy slices of confit pork on perfectly cooked chanterelles. Oh, to eat here again.
