a perfectly sunny day to sit outside at Broad Street and have a lobster roll with a blonde ale! Would like to try the cold lobster roll next time- opted for the warm one which has butter and the roll is nice and hot.

Incredible JUMBO shrimp. Nicely battered shrimp that was huge and fresh. I thought it was mostly batter when it was served. I was extremely impressed that it was mostly shrimp and just the right amount of batter. Same thing with the fish and chips. The fish was very fresh and light. My cousin had the uni. She said it was fantastic.

A welcome addition to the trio of businesses here. The clam chowder is more clam-my and bacon-y than the usual cloyingly-creamy version at most restaurants; I really liked it. My wife thought the fish and chips were just okay (hence the 1 star off). You can take the food to eat at Modern Times, which has the most amazing beer selection this side of San Diego (where the other one is), especially if you want interesting stouts, sours, and all other manner of weird beers. I assume you can also eat it at Shaker Mill, the brewery in front, which has more standard options and a more energetic vibe.

Good service and atmosphere food was average and a little spendy. Reviews said best clam chowder ever had but I can honestly say not even close if you really want the best clam chowder you need to visit a little Cafe called Cowpunchers in a sun scorched town of Springville CA where you will find a true country atmosphere, amazing service (ask for crazy Jane) and delicious food.

Mussels were not fresh! My wife and I were excited to try out the new location in SB. We ordered the lobster roll, crab sandwich, and mussels. The best thing were the French fries. We both love shellfish and know what fresh seafood should taste like living locally. The mussels did not smell or taste fresh at all. I’m afraid I’m going to be sick on the toilet tonight. Crab was crunchy and just overall lacked freshness. Big bummer on the mussels. High prices are expected for any spot on State Street in SB.
