I went here for dinner with a few friends and was not disappointed. I was hesitant to order the crab cake sandwich because I didn’t want to be disappointed by the lack of freshness. It turns out that the crab is brought from Maryland. The crab cake sandwich with chips was tender and flavorful. The espresso martini was perfectly made and had sugar around the rim. The key lime was more on the tart side and yummy (but not overly tart). The only thing that might be a challenge is parking in this shopping plaza since it can be limited based on the time of day/week. The service was phenomenal too!

Beautiful place. Great looking bar area. Nice looking outdoor seating. We were placed near a large table of noisy people. The hostess was very helpful moving us when we asked. Great wine selection. Nice selection of oysters. I got one of everything. For starters I had the octopus which was actually tastier than what I had in Greece. And I had the grilled branzino. Moist and tasty. My wife had the crab cakes which she said was amazing. Jessica, out server did a nice job.

Parking is a bit of a challenge depending on the day that you go, that is the only con about this place I can say. The hostess was extremely friendly and talkative. Darker lighting gave off nice relaxing vibes. We sat up at the bar and Nicole was absolutely amazing!!! Great cocktail menu and an impressive selection of Whiskey’s. Shrimp and Grits were amazing and my Wife had their Special: Pistachio Encrusted Sea Bass which was so delicate and flavorful I hope they add it to the menu. If you love great food, great craft cocktails, and amazing service then definitely try Brine! We will absolutely be back.

Brine Seafood & Raw Bar had my birthday dinner there last night the food was so delicious . Whole Branzino (perfectly cooked), Snapper (on point delish) , oysters (best ever) , crab bisque (needs a little more crab chunks but the Smokey flavor was delish), key lime pie for the birthday complimentary dessert and carrot cake with rum raisin (best we ever had) I agree with others the place is very loud and noisy but we sat at the outside tables and was more quiet. Our waitress was excellent! Highly recommend!

I ordered a Togo of snapper, shrimp and grits and a wedge salad. The employee on the phone was kind and the bartender who gave me my Togo was kind but the snapper was not. I had to pick little bones out of it and wasn’t very flavorful. The rest of my order was great though.

We ordered the shrimp ceviche and calamari for appetizers and they were excellent. However the entrees we ordered, lobster carbonara and crab cake, were disappointing. Both were lacking flavor and seasoning (read salt). Also the lobster was not folded into the pasta, which left the dish feeling like it was not cohesive, as if it were two separate dishes on one plate. Or more like pasta with a lobster tail add-on or conversely a lobster tail with a side of pasta. The service was as expected and the key lime pie for dessert was exactly what Florida key lime pie should be. So our experience, as well as our review, was mixed.

Don’t let this restaurant location in a strip mall, fool you. It might be a little ways off the water, but the seafood is as fresh as can be. on a recent trip to Sarasota. We discovered this little gem in the gulf gate area. fantastic rawbar , great ambience, and outdoor seating. Shrimp and grits is incredible with sautéed Swiss chard., lobster carbonara. The crabcakes are as good as any will find in Maryland. Maine oysters as fresh as Damriscotta.

We have ventured to this place a few times. The food is always outstanding but the service is hit or miss. This last visit, our food came out before we received our drink order due to a backup at the bar, and our drinks came half full. Try the lamb meatballs appetizer. The whisky list is long and there is a good wine list too. Indoor and covered outdoor seating available. We went on a weekday evening and did not need reservations. Parking available.

Upscale seafood restaurant that doesn’t break the bank. Service was excellent, great job of separating the bar and dining room. Food was amazing, snapper was delicious as was the octopus.
