I have been coming to Brik for years and it has quickly become my favorite place in Cookeville. I’ve seen the one negative review of this place, and I don’t get it. It’s the complete opposite of every experience I’ve had here. Brik feels reminiscent of Cheers, but with teas instead of brews. The staff is so friendly, and very welcoming. There’s always great music playing when you walk in. Their loaded teas are absolutely delicious, as are their protein shakes! You have to try the White Chocolate Snickers shake! If that’s not your speed, they have tons of flavors. The teas though, amazing! I rarely make it out the door with before I finish my tea. Gift cards for Brik have turned into my favorite birthday present! You have to check this place out! It’s the perfect way to start your morning!

I don’t usually do this, but I have not had a good experience here… I’ve been in a few times. It was highly recommended to me by a co-worker. But every time I go in, I never feel comfortable. The guys that work there are not friendly, barely talks to anyone. Or when they do talk, they’re very short and almost rude and they acts like they have better things they could be doing. The last time I went in, I had a recipe from a friend that I wanted to try (I had it previously, but the store I went to was out of state). I told the guy working the recipe exactly. It tasted NOTHING like the one I had before. And the other store owner gave me the exact recipe, and I gave the guys the EXACT recipe. No thank you. Won’t be back!

We have been wanting to stop in for awhile and we are super glad we did. This place is awesome! The shakes are outstanding, no its not some super rich dessert shake, but a meal supplement, and it’s done right. The tea was absolutely awesome too. The shake and tea combo is a perfect fill if you’re looking for a light lunch, we look forward to going back soon.

Love this place! Banana pudding & banana moon pie are my usuals. These shakes don’t taste like you’re eating a scoop of grimey protein powder. The order ahead option is great when you’re on the go! Super sweet family as well! Give them a try!
