We went for a quick lunch. I saw some good reviews on local social media pages. It’s a nice old fashioned drive in restaurant. I ordered chicken tenders, sweet potato waffle fries and a double cheeseburger, all the way. The chicken tender batter was weird, it just fell off the chicken in chunks. The ranch sauce was delicious. The waffle fries were ok, tasted like the grease needed to be changed. The burger was ok, needed some seasoning. For $30 I was kinda disappointed.

I didn’t enjoy my food much. My onion rings had no batter on them, the cheese fries were very clearly microwaved and I personally didn’t like how the cheese tasted. I didn’t like the burger either mostly due to the cheese and the bacon. They just tasted off to me.

We tried this place on a whim and although they don’t come out to the car to take your order, the burgers were well worth walking inside to order! They will bring the food out to you when ready, and you’ll be planning your next trip there. With supply chain issues they were out of a few things, but that’s to be expected. After we tasted our burgers it didn’t matter. Bacon lovers beware!

The food here was AMAZING! Perfect diner food that wasn’t greasy, was very tasty, and had great texture. I had the Lotta chicken and my mother the burger and just… Everything was cooked to perfection. Usually with thin sliced grilled chicken, you run the risk of it being dry, but this was juicy and tender. The burger was juicy and had those delicious crisp around the edges that are burger gold. The fries are wonderfully crisp, coleslaw super creamy and tasty, and the hush puppies are to die for. The cherry limeade is slap yo momma good. The price is amazing for the amount of food you get (which is a lot, but no complaints to that!), and the staff are really nice. If nearby and hungry, definitely give this place a try. Also, they have ice cream, which is the perfect end to a tasty meal in a hot summer’s day. Thanks for the delicious meal!
