I grew up eating from this HDS multiple times a week. The value keeps going down but the foods still great. They don’t have a drive thru here and don’t take phone orders so I normally go to Chippewa, but when i walk in to order it’s always worth the wait.

It was nice to eat there again. The big point I wanted to comment on was the manager on duty – Jeffrey Finch. He set such a positive, encouraging tone with his team, to the point that I believe that will have a more massive impact on each of the team members than anything else they do there. He was clear in his direction, without any authoritarian tone, and with consistent positive feedback that working under his command has to be a pleasure.

The people are so friendly at this location. This location is New Brighton. This is my favorite one bc of the ladies at the register. Food is always hot, place is very clean, has booths & the 40s type chairs lol.

Ordered a pasta chili and my friend ordered a chili for pick up. Both had black specks all over the top of them. Neither of us ordered pepper on our food. No idea if that’s what it was or not. Could’ve been cigarette ash for all we knew. Threw it out. Lost a customer.

The historic Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe! The BHDS was well-established in the area as far back as I can remember (like, the mid 70’s.) My wife and I had to stop in since we were in town. It was even better than we remembered! Delicious hot dogs, creamy milk shakes, and a Brobdingnagian helping of French fries. Our server, Jennifer, was extremely friendly and sweet. If you’re in New Brighton (or near any of their locations) stop in for a bite to eat, you’ll be happy you did.
