My mom and I came here after we didn’t like the first two restaurants we walked into around same vicinity in Golden. Such a beautiful atmosphere outside and we got the best table overlooking the river. Food was very good, but that ambiance was everything & amazing. We would definitely go again

Stopped in for lunch while on a business trip. We ate on the deck and really enjoyed the view — the nearby trail along Clear Creek was fairly busy for a weekday. I had a Caesar salad with chicken and a cup of their green chili (with pork). I enjoyed both, though was warned by our waiter that the chili could pack some heat. I felt that this wasn’t true and found it rather mild. I would return the next time I’m in the area.

Everything was delicious that we ordered. Only downside was they were out of salmon, so no salmon dishes were available. But besides that the waitress was very kind but not the most attentive as we ran out of water a few times. I had the filet which was cooked perfectly. The Fish & Chips are also delicious, as is the Smoked Trout Appetizer. All in all it was a positive experience, we will definitely return!

This place is stunning. Located inside The Golden Hotel, it’s easy to find and the atmosphere was great. It’s located in downtown Golden, so plenty of historic places to see if you need to walk off your meal. The food was amazing but the service was lacking. No one had a smile, they all seemed very miserable. Tried cracking a joke or 2, and just got a sullen look back. Please be grateful you are able to work ! Food took a bit to arrive but we weren’t in any rush. We spent $100, including tip, for 2 meals, 1 soda and 2 desserts. It wasn’t loud and they were able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation. The baked Alaska had an amazing meringue topping but the brownie was rock hard and inedible. My husband enjoyed his hot fudge sundae. Ice cream was real ice cream, not soft serve. Entrees were really well presented and mostly tasty(ordered a burger and the fish and chips). The coleslaw was awful, though, but that was the only thing truly nasty of both entrees. Over all, a good experience and we might revisit in the future. Just hope we get a server that actually wants to be there next time.

My friend & I met up, both retired nurses, & had a great meal. Everyone was super friendly, food was great. She mentioned we were retired nurses to a staff member. When we went to pay, we had a very kind note thanking us as nurses & bill was paid! Brought tears to our eyes! Kind people are out there!! Thank you so much!!
