I did a search for BBQ in Oberlin & Brickyard Bar & Grill popped up. Our server/bartender, Brittany, was fantastic. Offered suggestions on the menu. I ended up getting there in house BBQ pulled pork with a side of hand battered onion rings. The portions are huge! The sandwich came with onion straws, pickles and a Dijon sauce. I was happily surprised by how well the Dijon complimented the sweet BBQ sauce on the pork. They have a very large dining area. Several seats at the bar and offer patio dining. There are several beers on tap and a full bar. They also offer catering.

Kind of a dive bar feel but without the attitude. TV sports, electronic gambling, low lighting, but a welcoming staff, extensive beer list and amazingly comprehensive menu. I thought that might mean everything would be just ok, but the chicken margherita flatbread was excellent. Fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, very satisfying.

This place deserves more than five stars. My husband got the mushroom burger, but I was selfish and didn’t take a picture of it They were busy off the beaten path of downtown Oberlin. The food was amazing.

My absolute favorite place to get wings. Nice weather today, so we got to go out on the patio.

Pretty cool spot. Lots of unique items on the menu. My brother and I couldn’t make up our minds so we tried several. Hangover burger was my favorite. Several more I would like to try. Enjoyed it a lot will definitely come back next time I’m out this way.

First time here and the last. Food was mediocre at best. Beer was cold, my wife’s mixed drink was not good at all. Ended up sending that back and they still wanted to charge us for it. Mind you, she only took one drink of it. Got the bill and we were still charged for it. Waitress told us the manager said it is what it is and they couldn’t take it off the bill. We asked to talk to the manager, he/she was too much of a coward to come and talk to us. They did end up taking it off the bill. Stay away from this place!!

Our server was fantastic I wish I remembered her name, and the food runner was great, both very nice and sweet. The food was good and of good quality, alittle complicated for the environment. It is like they are not sure if they want to a nice neighborhood bar or and upscale bar with fancy food. We walked in, everyone and I mean everyone stopped and stared at us if we were aliens, very unfriendly feeling from clientele. We ate outside because the day was gorgeous and inside was dark, gloomy, and unwelcoming. I did not expect Presti’s, but I also did not expect the gloomy feeling. I hope for the owners that they figure out what and who they want to be and they survive.

Surprisingly good food for a bar. We were especially happy with our burgers, they were really juicy and cooked perfectly. Service could be better and price is a little steep. Would come back again in the future.

This was a pretty disappointing experience. Pulling up the place looked barely open. The whole time I was there I thought it must have been just opened by new owners because there are unfinished floors, the bathroom looks to be in a state of disrepair, and I know the furnishings and walls in the bathroom are the same as they were when this was Prestis. Turns out it’s been open for several years. Can’t believe owners think the restroom is acceptable. The waitress was sweet but service was terrible. Apps came out- the cheese skewers were pretty tasty and well-prepared. Mushrooms were tasty but a little overdone. We waited an hour for our meals. They came out cold, but some of them were over cooked. The bacon wrapped “burnt” ends were not at all properly prepared. The grits were like soup. The bacon was not crisp but was a soggy slimy greasy thing hanging off the pork ends. All the wrong temp. We sent back about half of what we ordered. Additionally the pizza we ordered never came. The poor waitress was obviously stressed and told us they were overwhelmed in the kitchen and were running out of things. I wanted to give it a higher rating but the manager never even came out to talk to us. Probably won’t be back which is a real bummer because there isn’t much like this out here. Not too family friendly- no crayons or kids menu.

The burger was good…nothing to write home about but it was a nice size, perfectly prepared to order patty on a adequate bun. If you’re looking for something truly amazing, get the grilled cheese brisket. The brisket melts in your mouth and the BBQ sauce was tasty. I will most likely return just to get this sandwich again. Our server was terrific, too. She was very sweet and hard working.
