Closed before closing time. People travel from far to be here. We came all the way from New Jersey to stay at this hotel because we thought we were going to get good service here, and we did not. It’s a Saturday night, and we paid $300 to be here at this hotel, and this is not what we paid for. We did not pay for the hotel restaurant to be closed early

Checked into the hotel on a Monday night, went down for dinner, only thing open was the bar, and the menu at bar was very limited. Not my idea of a nice quiet dinner after traveling all day, listening to a bunch of drunks and sports on tv. Went next door to a quiet sit down restaurant.

Me and my son got a delicious pepperoni pizza. It was incredible!! I was told Tha it’s pricy and blah blah blah but DAMN!! I was soooo happy with how delicious it was and my son being a pizza lover definitely enjoyed this one.

The food that I’ve eaten there is exceptionally good at the bar area lacks a lot to be desired. They’re not places where you can sit and chat with your friends it is too loud not that friendly. I lived at Embassy here in Downey for 2 months when my house burned down before the remodel. During that time the hospitality bar was very nice and the front bar was exceptionally nice and friendly and laid out in a way that you could talk to more than one person at a time. If you’re thinking of remodeling again do it. Again the food was very good at blackstone’s Grill although I must tell you that even though we had a reservation for New Year’s last year they ran out of lobster and we were there early. They send somebody out to my more but it’s still kind of ruined our special night out. And there were six of us.
