Brisket had little to no smoke ring, so it wasn’t really smoked (that well if at all it seemed). Didn’t really have smokey flavor and tasted more like a pot roast. It was tender and moist however.

My family and I were highly disappointed. We had heard some mixed reviews but we like to judge for ourselves. We got there about an hour before close and I’m guessing that played a factor. My brisket was completely dried out, literally. I got the cornbread which was completely cold and rock hard. For the price, I expected much more! My wife had the Cuban sandwich and the meat tasted like spam. Our sons kid pizza was decent and that was honestly about it. When asked if I needed a box because my plate was full, I told the waitress my food was cold and dried out and she just said I’ll bring a box anyway just in case. For $70 after tip for 3 people I would have thought the quality would be great, especially from a smokehouse. Coming in an hour before close shouldn’t mean lesser quality and service for the premium prices. I guess the cooks as well as the wait staff are more concerned with cleaning up and getting out the door. Definitely unfortunate and disappointing and a costly education of where not to eat again.

We could smell this BBQ Smokey Sweet Goodness in our hotel next door, so we had to go investigate. Sad, they were out of ribs. We got the Brisket Entree with Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw, All American Burger with Waffle Chips, Maple Bourban Traditional Bone-In Wings and pretzel bites. All were very delicious. We tried to order online, but all three places we tried, Grubhub, Google Order, and straight through the website gave us different menus & prices, so we ended up calling in our order for pickup. 30 min less for pickup not bad! The place was BOOMING jam packed. Thanks for the first time experience!

The food is always amazing when I am here. The service is just as great. Anytime you need a fun place to go with friends or family, this is the place to go. There’s plenty of entertainment as well. Any sports game you want to watch they will have on. Love it overall!!

We came in on a whim because we like local nosh, and we hadn’t yet been here. First of all, there was a small group of EXTREMELY loud people at the bar, which was very off-putting. The whole time we were there, they never got quieter. That was stressful for the patrons AND the employees, we could tell. They are obviously hurting for employees because they ended up having to close early due to staffing. The service was fine, but not great – mostly, I think, because they were feeling the strain of being short staffed. Three things that we ordered ended up not being available that day. The Old Fashioned that my wife ordered was NOT an old fashioned. It tasted like straight whiskey with garnish. But again, we could see that they were struggling, so we just kept that to ourselves and she drank her water instead. When we got our food, the burgers were way overcooked and not really all that warm. My wife ate hers anyway because we were starving, and thankfully, I had gotten the one with pulled pork on it, so I basically had a pulled pork sandwich that wasn’t too bad. Our daughter LOVED her brisket. I’m always going to give an honest review. Thst said – I guess the moral of the story is that WE SEE YOU, the workers trying so hard to give great service under not-so-great circumstances. We know you’re trying. It’s hard to do that much work when you’re the only 3 or 4 people doing it. Know that it isn’t your fault for a mediocre review. You’re doing your best.

Very disappointed. Food is below average especially for the price. Both the onions rings and baked beans taste they’re from a store. The staff was friendly but spend too much socializing with each other to do simple things like getting a plate or drinks. it wasn’t busy, so it shouldn’t take over 5 minutes to get a refill.

We had the Brickhouse burger, homemade tots, loaded fried chicken sandwich, and mac n cheese. We cleared our plates… honestly the best burger I’ve ever had. The candied bacon was so great with the BBQ and everything was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend stopping on your way to Peoria or even a special trip.

Enjoyed the brisket and a Porky burger the other night. Our waitress was nice but could have been a little more attentive as we had to wait awhile for drink refills. Food was tasty and well-prepared. They have lots of TV screens if you’re looking to watch a game. Prices aren’t low but portions are generous.

Very disappointed in our meals tonight compared to past visits. Grilled chicken sandwich was super dry. Pasta in Mac & cheese was undercooked, and top was hard & crusty. Cole slaw was tasteless & needed more dressing. Service was good.
