Ok…I just want to say, if you’re looking for a good, old fashioned restaurant, with good old fashioned food and good old fashioned service, this is your place. The ladies are friendly. The food is exactly what you would expect to get when you walk in. Nothing fancy. Nothing off the wall. They know who they are and what they do here, and they do it well without pretending to be something they aren’t. Get me? My wife and I love the old fashioned places. And we loved it here. (I was pleasantly surprised that the hit turkey sandwich was actual roasted turkey and not just a couple of slices of deli meat. No… It wasn’t samurai country good. It was good fashioned dinner good, be and that too hits the spot sometimes.

Turkey dinner and dressing was good. Cheap cafeteria style food. Breakfast is good there also. Stopped in today and had hot roast beef and fries with gravy. And a side of Macaroni salad. Everything was good. Just can’t believe how much the prices have risen. My favorite home style restaurant.

Other then the service being great, the food was not. I had gotten a regular breakfast while my 2 year old got sausage gravy and biscuits the same as my client who had went with us. Her gravy was nice and warm and my two year Olds was cold. Not warm COLD. And I told them it was cold, they did not offer to give him a new one, or to not charge me for it since he only ate literally a bite of it. We will not be going back there.

Went there for the first time and wasn’t sure what to expect. We both got the western omelette. The meal was great!!!! It’s a quaint place like a cafeteria. Spoke to the sweat ladies that waited on us she said the place has been there 90 years and she worked there 33 years. You can get just about any meal you can think of. All home made. Pies to great sandwiches. Reasonable prices and large quantities. Look at the size of this omlet. This will make you want to take a nap .

Sadly, it took an hour to get the food for a family eating in. Others that came in after were served with no problem. We were told, they got behind. I can understand that, as I have worked in public service as well. Didn’t seem to be behind all the other customers that received their orders.

We paid 16.00 for 2 breakfast tried to call back after we paid 31.00 for 3 sandwiches the woman kept hanging up on me approx 4 – 5 time getting hung up on she stopped answering the phone the bread was hard as a rock very poor customer service they charge for tomatoes on the burger
