A California burrito incorporates French fries inside of the burrito in place of rice & beans. California burritos are not often found outside of San Diego and we are excited to share this concept with you here in the Midwest! Brick Street Burrito features three homemade salsas. Roja (mild). Caliente (hot), or Verde (green) should accompany each bite of your burrito in the true “San Diego way”!
We also offer a variety of burrito and bowl options, tacos, quesadillas and fresh chips and guac! We have a few vegan options as well as beer and wine options! Our canned beer and wine is available for carryout so be sure to stop in before the next event in downtown Valpo!

AMAZING! Hands down best burrito’s around! I had the Surf and Turf and it was perfect in every way. Rest of the family got tacos and more. They ate everything and there was no left overs. Given the picky eaters this is saying a lot. Part of me wants to tell you all to stay away because I don’t want it to get so busy that I can’t get to it but I also want them to stay in business. So come hungry and leave satisfied!!

This was our first time trying BSB and we were so disappointed. I got the asada slow carb bowl; They forgot the Roja salsa, I had maybe 4 pieces of steak, about 10 black beans, my son got the rolled tacos; i couldn’t believe how greasy they are and how there was barely any chicken. We got a “large” rice, it was quite possibly the smallest portion of rice we’ve ever seen. I wanted to like everything so bad, but this just isn’t the place for us. There certainly is a lot of oil that goes into these meals, it leaves that interesting coat in your mouth. $28 for two people is a stretch when it comes to the quality we recieved.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. I used to live your food! Whoever is cooking is using an insane amount of oil. I got the fish taco and my friend got the steak, they were placed in the same container the steak on top of my ” mahi mahi” and my taco was covered in steak. It was also dripping grease/oil whatever it was cooked in. Fresh fish does not smell fishy. The taco was very disappointing. The steak nachos were good. The last few times I’ve gotten food from here it has just not been as good as when it first opened. I have been to California and had this style of food many times. This just wasn’t up to par.

My fiancée and I visited for the first time last night and the experience was lovely. The staff was kind/attentive and we had virtually no wait time for our food to come out. My California Chicken burrito was amazing, though I do wish I had asked for a spicier salsa (the mild was very tame). Otherwise it was a lovely experience and I think this location may become a spot we visit often.

Amazing burritos! I’ve had many things from their menu and never had a bad meal. And they have great burritos of the month! My favorites this year so far being the buffalo mac and cheese burrito and the Italian beef burrito. Only downside is they got rid of the buffalo chicken quesadilla and that was my favorite thing on the permanent menu. But I still love their food and visit often!

Been here about 4-5 times and it’s solid overall. However, I don’t know if it was just bad luck or what but the steak in my taco and burrito during latest visit were terrible. The fattiest and grizzliest steak I’ve ever had. It was almost every bite. Had to spit it out and scrape out ALL the steak. I’ll def give them another chance but this stung 🙁

I really enjoy the food and service and have been coming here since they opened. But I wish the management would edit the hours on Google. I checked google to make sure they were open and then did an online order for pickup and when I arrived there was a paper sign saying they are no longer open on Sundays due to staffing issues. I’m not upset that they aren’t open, staffing issues happen. I’m upset that I was able to check to see that they were open, order food, and pay online before seeing in person that they are closed. At the end of the day it is the manager’s/owner’s responsibility to make this edit on Google. I would like a refund my check number was 46.
