We were actually intending on eating somewhere else today but when we got out of the car we were hit with the most fantastic smell! We didn’t know this place was open yet so we decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The food was delicious. I loved the sweet potato fries, grilled veggies and fried pickles. The cornbread muffins are fluffy and sweet. Highly recommend.

Brickstreet in Fort Scott, KS is a place we will frequent often. The smoked chicken wings are simply amazing, as well as their BBQ sauce. Their Ranch dressing is also home made. I also ordered the burnt ends and the meat was perfect without BBQ sauce (even though it’s great with it!). Throw in the baked potato and Cole slaw….I couldn’t eat it all. We will be back very soon!

The meat sweats are coming! I’ve eaten my share of BBQ and Brickstreet BBQ is simply amazing! One of our family’s favorite places. Tender, smoked meats, love the smoked chicken wings and burnt ends. The sweet potato fries and onion straws are excellent and the super creamy mac n cheese – SO yummy! The staff is friendly and very attentive every time. Brickstreet is our favorite Fort Scott BBQ = 5-Stars!!!

Well, Sunday afternoon decided to give this place a try. Building looked beautiful and inside was nice. Looked like the food would be top notice. Nope. First it took forever to be seated. Then it took forever to have someone take our order. Didn’t get my tea until after food arrived and I reminded her. My $12.00 small salad didn’t have the blueberries it was supposed to . Ok, so sent that back and wanted the brisket sandwich instead.

Good place for BBQ. Staff is attentive and the service is quick. The brisket is really tender and juicy. Pulled pork is excellent also. The sauce was sweet and a little spicy, the way I like it. Sweet potato fries are great. Potato salad is ok. With the 20 foot ceilings and hardwood floors, it could get a little noisy on a busy Saturday night but that just adds to the character of the old building. We don’t come to Ft. Scott a lot but it will be our go to restaurant.

Burnt ends were perfectly smoked and tender. The pit beans are as good as it gets in my opinion, and unfortunately this is all I can speak on until next time.

I ordered the brisket tacos because of the unique list of toppings. I have to admit the combination of ingredients works out very well. With or without the sauce it was a very tasty treat!!! First time there I will be returning to try more menu options!

Deserves Zero stars. On 5/6/2023 Was seated and told server would be right with us. Husband went to the restroom, came back and we waited and waited and waited, NEVER had anyone come to the table, not even for drinks. We were waiting about 30+ minutes until we left and went to another restaurant.
