Awesome spot. First time ever, on a road-trip and stopped off in Tupelo Mississippi. Cute brunch spot walking distance from the hotels. Came in and immediately Melinda seated me , introduced herself and informed me that she’s taking care of me. She asked if I was ever there, explained to her that no I’m just passing through from outta town. She took the time to go over the menu . I ordered a triple mimosa , white cranberry, green apple and watermelon. Ordered on her recommendation ( which btw had nothing bad to say on any item) but explained the differences. I ended up with the bayou Benedict and a side of Parmesan truffle fries with coffee. Absolutely incredible. Service, cleanliness atmosphere and soon as you taste good quality ingredients. For the price it’s a great deal. Total bill including tax was $36. I will be returning on my way home next week and try another one if Melinda’s recommendations. The place is known for their bloody Mary’s. Personally I’m not into tomato juice so I went with the mimosas.

The food while visually appealing was mediocre.

Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. After our food came out my son wanted a biscuit and the server gave him one no fuss – no charge. Plenty of seating indoors & outdoors. Looks like a private party room also available. Black coffee was strong and yummy.

Hmm, I’m not sure about this one. It was recommended in my Airbnb’s guestbook so I had high expectations. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing…

I can’t consider it like top 10 restaurants in the states. It’s good but can’t compare it with Ihope. Price is expensive a little bit. Services are good

It’s a wait time, but worth the wait. They’re friendly, helpful, polite. Food is off the chain, along with drinks. They have entertainment on weekends, nice

Don’t order the grits. But everything else was great. We had a phenomenal waitress, wish I had wrote her name down. We had the honey mimosas which were the best mimosas I’ve ever had. Our waitress even packed us waters to go with happy faces on them. The highlight of our morning

We were passing through and wanted a good breakfast and that’s what we got. We started with the beignets. Our super waitress, Melinda, brought us some chocolate sauce that was so good we bought a bottle, Then fried green tomatoes with a Cajun shrimp crawfish sauce that were wonderful. Lastly we shared fried chicken Benedict with honey. Only have a picture of one of the tomatoes cause we ate them so quickly.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant out so I was super excited. It was pretty busy, but we were able to get a seat as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere was great and the servers were very nice. The menu had different types of food that I’d never eaten before so I excited to try something new. I ordered a Pineapple Mimosa which tasted very good. I also ordered the Bananas in Pajamas for a starter…I’ll just say it was beautiful on the plate, but it was missing something. To have so many different components on the plate it just didn’t have any flavor. For my main dish I tried the Shrimp & Tasso Mac n Cheese I was disappointed. It wasn’t hot more like lukewarm with no salt or pepper. I might give it one more chance and order something simple next time hopefully it will be better.

Today was my second experience at the Tupelo Brick & Spoon, and it was definitely better than the first (my first time was soon after opening, and the proverbial machine wasn’t very well oiled just yet). Today, we found a happy, attentive waitress, clean tables turning over regularly, and live music at just the right sound level to compliment our friends and family brunch. After scanning the menu, we (3) decided to share a breakfast for two and add an extra pancake for an additional $5.50. We all got full on the breakfast. Not only did we get full, we had the extra pancake and half of the pancake that came with the breakfast left! It was pricy and we didn’t love all of the elements of the meal, but the hashbrowns that we substituted for grits ($1 upcharge per serving) were perfectly cooked and delicious. Our shared meal with water to drink was just shy of $50 including tip.
