Today, my husband and I were looking for a place to spent our rare date night. We chose this place because I seen the reviews and wanted a good steak. As soon as we came in, we were greeting with kindness and swift service. Our server, Cora, was so sweet and showed such impeccable hospitality. The food was delivered quickly, even though the restaurant was filled many guest. I order the prime rib. It has been many years since I’ve had one cooked to my liking like this. The wine was fresh. The desserts were SO yummy. I will definitely be back and will ask to be seated in Cora’s section.

With full honesty, some items were a miss but overall I had a really good visit! Great atmosphere and definitely the type of restaurant where people go to celebrate birthdays.

We came for dinner and put our name on the list. The wait time was about 45 minutes for dinner so we decided to walk around and explore a bit. The portions are huge. We had the Farmer’s special.. soft, fall off the bone beef short rib. The chicken marsala was flavorful but I thought it was a bit drier. Not terrible but not as juicy as I wanted it to be. The overall vibe is nice.

The food is awesome! This restaurant is really clean and the staff is so friendly. There are many choices to select from, you will not be disappointed dining at the Brick House. I ordered the family style meals to go for 3. There was so much food that came with this deal. My choices were house salad, minestrone soup, eggplant parmesan, rotini with meat sauce veggies, sourdough bread and garlic butter, The cost was reasonable for 3, approximately $52. All the dishes were awesome, huge servings, and so yummy. You will not go wrong ordering this meal deal.

I am super happy that I was able to finally try this restaurant. Lodi hasn’t disappointed and has an amazing selection of places to eat. I’m happy to add this to my family’s rotation. Service was amazing… (I have well-behaved kids, but I am always on alert for prejudgers when we try new places… All we felt here were positive welcoming vibes). The food was amazing. My rib eye was cooked a perfect medium raw. My kids loved their food… mac and cheese, ravioli, and lasagna. Also, this might not be a thing to folks, but we also really love the garlic butter that came with our bread lol. And oh yeah… just stop it already…. they had Pliny the Elder. Really. This place is like 15 stars. Please keep Pliny on tap forever. Thank you.

We went to The Brick House for a leisurely dinner and had a RUSHED 3-course meal in 45 minutes. When we were half-finished with our soup, we were served our salads. We had eaten 1/3 of our salads & our entrees arrived. It was hard to enjoy the salad with our entrees on the table getting cold. Several wait staff walked by our table without removing empty, dirty dishes. I finally got a waiter’s attention to have used dishes removed. Our waiter never asked if the food was okay. Evidently the wait staff needs some training! We probably won’t go back!

Horrible service… had reservations last night on 4/29/2023 which we got seated late after I had to ask, 2 different tables being seated after us had their food before us which took over 1 hour. We had to continually ask for water, had to ask again for a glass of wine which took 30 minutes to get, I didn’t have a knife that took awhile to get, husband cut his lip on lamb chop which they were almost raw, my pasta was over cooked. Husband told them in reservation it was my birthday. After dinner he had to ask what about my birthday desert which waiter said “oh of course” which was worse chocolate mouse ever. I told manager of which she wanted to give me owners business card to contact… I said no thank you, I will never go back to that restaurant. My husband was so disappointed as I as he wanted my birthday to be a great evening which was ruined.
