Went here on a Sunday afternoon. I had the smoked salmon salad and hubby had the Swiss and mushroom burger with fries. Well I never clean my plate but today I am officially a member of the clean plate club. This was a really good salad. It was loaded with smoked salmon, pecans and goat cheese—yummy. Sadly, I would of given 5 stars but the bun on the Swiss and mushroom burger was so dry and hard that hubby just ate the meat, which was good.

It’s good bar food. I liked everything I’ve had when I’ve been here. Which is twice. This time I had the black & blu Mac and Cheese. It was a dish. Well prepared and tasty. I think for me, I don’t want an entire bowl of this. Having it as a side item and not the main dish would be perfect. Overall Brick & Bourbon is a nice restaurant to dine at. I would come here again to try the burgers.

The service was only ok took a long time to get greeted and our drinks. Ordered the Quesadilla which was very good. Had a burger that was cooked well done and dry, they didn’t ask how I like it cooked. So he was great and took it off the bill. So I ordered the brie and that was good just kind of a small portion for the money. We also had grilled cheese and tomato soup and that was good. The first time I was here we had great service. A little expensive for the experience.
