Food is excellent and well priced, basic counter service is very basic That said never had a problem with order accuracy either, they check and double check which is amazing. The real problem with Brent’s is they are now cash only, previously they were 4% surcharge on credit card which was wonky but fine – this makes it almost impossible to order for a large group like we typically do we order for the whole office. This place has excellent food, but it’s very eccentric and just expects the customers to do things their way – that seldom works for any restaurant long term and I great this might be the point where they go down hill.

I ordered ribs and a fish plate. The ribs are always good, you can’t go wrong with them. However, I ordered tilapia, greens, and mac and cheese. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t amazing either. I think the mac and cheese needs something more, it was bland to me. The greens were alright; I have had better. I have to remember I can only eat a select few of other people’s greens. And the fish was good, but I thought it needed more seasoning. Food is always hot when served, and service is fairly quick. I will be returning for another choice next time.
