I was visiting out of town and hotel had a long wait for breakfast. So I decided to get something in the walking distance from Courtyard on Thursday morning…Multiple wins – got a walk and healthy breakfast.

I’ll start with the thing we liked best, the Maple Iced Latte, very good! The food was just okay, nothing special. Pricey as well. I had tex mex avocado toast, it wasn’t bad but wasn’t exceptional either. Hubby had 2 pancakes with side of bacon, it was thick cut and he did say the bacon was good! Didn’t care for standing at the counter looking at a menu to order from either. The menu selection is rather small. I think overall, I was just hoping for better. I did see other reviews prior but wanted to give it a visit for myself. Guess I understand why they only have 3.7 stars. It wasn’t a bad experience, it just wasnt one that would make me revisit.

We ordered a variety of items, pancakes/little brekkie of champions, regular brekkie of champions, some type of breakfast sandwich, donuts, coffee and some type of coffee cake. The place was super cute inside! Loved the pineapple cups! Honestly we won’t go back unless it’s just for a pastry and coffee. The coffee cake we got was great, but the rest of the food was terrible. The scrambled eggs looked and tasted like fake eggs scooped out of a serving pan, they were also so salted we both left them uneaten on our plate. The bacon was dripping in grease. The pancakes were dry. Service was sort of awkward and unfriendly. We didn’t know where to order. There’s only one menu to look at. We were really excited to try this place! Sad it didn’t live up to the hype. We will go back to our regular breakfast places (northstar/fox in the snow/first watch)! Sad we wasted 60$ on this breakfast we left half eaten!

I met the owners of Brekkie Shack last week at a pickle ball function and was too busy fan-girling over them to truly show my appreciation for their restaurant

Bun was super dry, there was less than a tablespoon of avocado, and the bacon was very tough. Good eggs and decent flavor overall but overpriced for what you get.

My family and I had breakfast on a Saturday morning around 9am. We spent $70 on 2 adults meals, 2 children meals, & 2 cups of coffee. Silverware, condiments, & water are all self serve. The water glasses had finger prints and looked so dirty we didn’t drink out of them. The hot sauce was so dirty. See picture attached. The lady working the register asked me how to spell SOY for my milk of choice for my coffee, which they did not have. When I went up to the bar area to ask for a clean glass for water, no one who was working made eye contact or even glanced in my direction. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. The food was ok at best. I appreciate the idea of healthy & trendy breakfast, but the execution was awful. While we waited for our food, I believe it was the owner, was making a couple trips from her car into the restaurant. It appeared she was unloading mass amounts of flour and powdered sugar which she was taking from the back of her jeep and placing in oversized black duffel bags and transporting into the restaurant. Once she filled the last bag, we did not see her again. The restaurant was so busy we figured she would be helping the staff but we never saw her the rest of the time we were in.

Ordered through GrubHub delivered to my work. Requested utensils and napkins, which weren’t included. Ordered the plant based breakfast burrito; the eggs were SO salty that I ended up removing them because they were inedible. I paid $4 for a side of tater tots and the order contained 12 tots (I paid $0.33 per tater tot…). Seems to be going downhill, which is disappointing because I used to really enjoy their food!

This is a great spot if you have money to spend 😉 or if you want to catch up with an old friend. My coworkers we looking for a spot that had great drinks and food after night shift. It wasn’t the best drink menu and the food wasn’t the greatest.

Foods pretty good; space is gorgeous. Table service prices for fast casual service and small portions. You now also have to pay to park… I pass 2 similar spots to get to BS so not really worth it for myself. If you live in the Yard check it out.
