This was my second time eating at the Breakwater and the food was good. We sat on the deck and relaxed by the water. We really enjoyed our cheesecake. The drinks were delicious. Our waiter was great!

Went there for a presentation by Cress. Food and service were very good. Will go back for a special dinner sometime this summer. Have been back twice now and sat outside by the Yahara River and ate. Had the dill pickle cheese curds. Wow!

Breakwater was the right place to celebrate my dad’s birthday party. Hollywood and staff provided excellent service and food at reasonable prices! The party room was set up beautifully and Hollywood provided welcoming and bar signs, a large screen to project photos, lovely table settings in a perfect setting! Guests loved the food and everyone had a wonderful time!

We had the pleasure of eating there yesterday afternoon. They are short-staffed but that didn’t stop them from serving great food in a timely and friendly manner. Our group of 6 was impressed. Some of the best sandwiches we’ve had in a while. Great views and easy to slip the boat! Great experience!

We quit going a couple years ago and decided to try it again this summer. The food and service have been amazing. In my opinion they have the best manager we have seen in a very long time. He is very pleasant and courteous to the customers. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is taken care of. So happy we tried Breakwater again. It is now our favorite place to go. We have tried different entries and all were excellent.

My husband and I were in town for a week and managed to eat here 4 times. The food is fantastic, the ambience is fantastic, our server Kaylee (sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly lol) was so kind as was the head chef who came to say hello when my husband commented on the yummy brisket special. Such a great experience, even when they were short staffed, they tried to make it feel like you were the only table and not rushed. Just such a great experience. This is the first place we will go if/whenever we are back in this neck of the woods! Thank you for a great experience!

First time ever coming here. We came for a work lunch and the service was great! A couple people in my party mentioned the renovations since they were last here and commented how nice it was and must have stuck a lot of money into it. Food was amazing, I had the Philly cheese steak with queso (can also get it with beer cheese) and the tots were some of the best I have had! Cooked perfect and had the right amount of crunch! They mentioned they had just revamped the menu last month (April) and I will say all the food my party had looked amazing! We will definitely be coming back!!!

My BFF just had her wedding of 50 guests at the Breakwater and I cannot say enough good things about Hollywood, the owner. and his team of accommodating staff! The party room was elegantly decorated, the food was delicious, the cocktails fabulous and the bathrooms spotless. The best part was the stellar service and attention to detail by staff. As the maid of honor I utilized their wifi to stream a playlist through their blue tooth and we could skip the expense of a DJ. It is a fantastic party venue. Recommend it for holiday parties, showers, any gathering you want to ensure generates spectacular memories!

Organized my 50 year high school class reunion at the Breakwater which was held on July 1st. Room set up was beautiful, Hollywood recommended a heavy appetizer menu which was perfect for our set up and the food was great, bartenders kept up with our big crowd, the reunion was a big success thanks to the Breakwater owners and staff. I would highly recommend the Breakwater when planning your next event.

Poor communication from the wait staff that took an hour to get our food from when we ordered it. It was about 45 minutes in that they explained the cook staff was busy. I get staffing can be an issue or being busy but bar food for 8 should not take an hour from order to table. They were out of fries, the BBQ pork had little to no sauce. Communication to your customer is key. Really disappointed in our experience
