I went to bread basket about 10 years ago, and it was great. It was the first alternative to Lou’s deli that I would be happy about. So we went there today and we ordered two sandwiches and we tried their corned beef egg rolls for some reason. I ordered the bread basket sandwiches which is like a dinty Moore but with Swiss cheese. I ordered the original size sandwiches and I was a little disappointed. The last time I went here the sandwich was stacked so high I could barely bite it, and the meat was very tender and thinly sliced. There was a lot of flavor from the Russian dressing and the tomatoes. This time I could barely taste the sauce the meat was a little salty and a little bit more tough and the bread was tasted old and stale. It was falling apart.

Not the bread basket from the 90s, that’s for sure! My sandwich was so skimpy. I couldn’t believe how even Bread Basket has fallen so far off. It’s been a very, very long time since I’ve gone there, but I see that for me, my time at Bread Basket is done. It had less than 3/4 of the amount of meat it used to have. And the corned beef egg roll was a joke. Now you have to ask for the large sandwich and pay a ridiculous price for what used to be their regular sandwich. So sad, but this is what every place does now. Guess I’ll just have to cook my own corned beef when I want some. So, I bought a whole corned beef, after I bought this sandwich. The whole corned beef was $24 bucks, and if I had bought a large sandwich, that was $20. So, adios old friend. I’ll always have great memories from back in the day!

The food is usually very good. The check out is chaotic, I think they need at least two employees at check out. Why isn’t the dining room open? Isn’t the Pandemic over? They were out of many things example: onion rolls, onion rings. Sandwich was smaller than in the past.

Called in my order so I didn’t have to wait long asked for a dinty Moore onion roll no lettuce I arrived fifteen minutes later paid for my food got home and….. they made me a sandwich with home sliced supermarket bread so if you want to eat something that you would never pay twenty dollars for and get ripped off come on down to this restaurant and they’ll treat you like family

Really good egg salad sandwich. Mushroom barley soup was a bit on the salty side. Coleslaw was meh.

In my opinion this is the best bread basket of them all. The cleanest, friendliest, and more options here. The have a wider variety of entrees and appetizers. The management and staff seem to actually care and take a little pride. As of the others I’ve been to that are either filthy or just plain rude. For that alone I gave 5 stars.

My Sandwich was horrible, I like some fat , but my sandwich had so much fat in the meat it was horrible & a big WASTE OF MY $17.79… I never experienced this before at this store & russian dressing is not RUSSIAN IT WAS THOUSAND ISLAND BECAUSE I ASK FOR A LITTLE MORE… they are not the same …COULDN’t eat the sandwich FATTY & THOUSAND ISLAND

I would give 0 stars if I could my food was awful my fries were old and soggy and my sandwich was even worse I called several times to complain and the Caucasian lady that answered the phone kept hanging up on me this is disgusting why would you give this to someone who paid their money for fresh food
