We stopped in for lunch last Friday afternoon and had a great experience. The waitress, Lilly, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to easily tell us which menu items were gluten free, which they had a good selection of. We ordered the mussels PEI with white and scallop crudo appetizers. They were both delicious. Dessert was so good, too! There was also a watermelon tequila cocktail special which was refreshing and very tasty. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t crowded while we dined. The bridge across the canal opened up and we could easily see it from inside the restaurant. We will definitely return in the future.

A nice Italian restaurant in mystic. Make reservations as it was packed on a Tuesday evening. The waitress was really nice and helpful. We sat inside, where the decor was nice, but it was a little dark and hard to hear with everyone talking in the place. We all had a good time and the food was pretty good. We had the goat cheese, rigatoni and gnocchi pomodoro. I really enjoyed the gnocchi, my rigatoni had very little sauce, which might work for some people, but I like a little more sauce to add flavor to the pasta. There is outdoor seating in downtown mystic and some people loved that. Parking was limited at the restaurant, but I found a spot by the river about two blocks away. It’s definitely worth checking out if you are in the mood for Italian.

Amazing dinning experience. Food is absolutely delicious. We ordered lobster, scallops and mussels with asparagus in lobster cream sauce with homemade fettuccine, and pan-seared scallops with meyer lemon risotto. So delicious! The restaurant in conveniently located across Whaler’s Inn with views of the famous Mystic’s drawbridge. Definitely recommend!

First time eating here and not disappointed. The focaccia and dip starter is very good. The goat cheese and arugula salad with pecans, apple, and apple cider vinegarette was well balanced. Salmon was on point and the steak was good. Service was friendly. I’d eat here again.

Exceptional pasta entrees! Would recommend offering more wines by the glass that pair with them. We sat outdoors to eat and had a 7:30p reservation specifically for outside. We stopped in an hour early and they said they could seat us as long as we left by 8pm which was confusing having had a reservation for outside an hour later. The sun sets right down the street and makes the outdoor seating a bit on the warm side. Inside was super busy and nice space but has low ceiling so it was very loud. In summary outstanding food and service, wine and atmosphere so-so.

We havn’t been back to BB since they moved. My memory (& I maybe wrong) was it was slightly more upscale or perhaps the clientele of touristy attire seemed to somewhat bring down the ambiance. Overall the atmosphere just seemed more pub oriented than I remember, with zero vibe. It didn’t help that the hostess was aloof and just acted like she was doing us a favor by seating us(& yes we did politely request a window table prior to seating…travesty, I know). She verged on being rude, where I literally hesitated to stay. I would never have her at my restaurant greeting guests. Bottom line in this post Covid restaurant scene, mediocre food(fresh pasta in both dishes were wonderfully Al dente, however gummy) I will also add that all food was extremely temperature hot, love that! It still shocks me that for 2 drinks, 2 apps & 2 pasta entrées the bill was north of $125, for food that was just ok. In full disclosure, I have a high bar for food, a 5 star alternative for Linguine Vongole is Pasta Beach, Newport RI w an amazing vibe in their new digs. As far as pasta Bolognese, any great RI Italian restaurant beats this. One important side note on their bolognese, it’s not traditional, (there’s a degree of middle eastern spice) which I fine….but mention it in the menu, my wife(who ordered it) hates middle eastern food and really didn’t care for it.

My favorite Mystic restaurant. Enjoyed an early dinner here tonight. We love the fresh baked bread with olive oil and bean dip that arrives before every meal. The angel hair pasta with shrimp was great. I started with a green salad that was very fresh, but the dressing was lacking. We also had the salmon with potatoes & Brussel sprouts, which was cooked just right and delicious. Service is very good.

Came here for dinner during my bachelorette weekend and we had a great time! Sitting outside was optimal as it was significantly quieter than the inside. Server Lilly was fabulous and was extremely efficient serving all outdoor tables. Those stairs add up! Homemade pasta was divine. Would definitely recommend and come back

We had a great experience. Staff was all friendly, we got there in time for some drinks and apps for happy hour. The meals were both delicious. Cacio e pepe with homemade pasta and a fantastic short rib stew. Would highly recommend
