Best German food outside Bavaria. I’ve eaten tons of authentic German food in Germany and I was impressed. Coupled with great German beer and service it is a place that you will want to visit over and over.

Love these guys- the owner is present and it makes a difference! Outside space is lovely, supports local musicians, great authentic German food with a NOLA influence. Looking forward to the back space expanding & being more activated and tied into the restaurant somehow, as they become more popular it’ll get more packed. Not a lot of inside space for a city with constant annoying showers and rainy days, which I think they are working on, but if it’s a nice day out, man this is a great place to spend it!

This little place is tucked back off the street but an amazing find. The food was some of the best German food we have found in a while. Quick service with friendly staff. They have a large outdoor area shaded by trees and an inside dining area. Would definitely recommend giving them a try.

I had the peppercorn gravy schnitzel special with mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious. The vibe was great. Constant live music scheduled, despite covid times. Can’t wait to go back and try their pretzels.

I had no idea where my Uber driver was taking me the other day, then we we rolled up on this NOLA gem on a Sunday. What can I say, this is a place that you must experience in person. I felt like I was across the pond when I walked through their front door. Food was superb. Beer selection was on point. Customer service was excellent. They have live blues music all the time and have a beer hall in the back. Perfect place to take the family on a beautiful NOLA day. Dog friendly as well. Oh, I forgot to mention… they have a Bloody Mary that will melt a meat lovers heart.

This is a hidden Gem amongst some warehouses. It’s a great authentic German Biergarten! Prost! Of course, some of the best beer…enjoyed a few different types, but really liked the Dunkel. The food was amazing. Enjoyed the Schnitzel Chicken sandwich, so crispy and yummy. It was huge. Perfect for two gals. The Black forest Beer brat was a pork brat, with the best tasting sauerkraut on a pretzel bun. Lastly, the Nurnberger was amazing. Pork brat with carmalized onions and sauerkraut. Again…the sauerkraut tastes so much better (here) because its authentically made. Delicious! They also have great dipping sauces for the fries. Don’t pass them up! Great service, Fun place to enjoy lunch outside in the Biergarten!

Incredible pretzels! Crunchy exterior and pillowy interior with delicious cheese sauce and spicy as hell mustard. Out-of-this world French rolls for sausages. Good beer selection. Dog friendly. Lots of outdoor seating. It was quiet for a weekday lunch. Will absolutely be back.
