Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the city! As somewhere new and enjoyable, I’d recommend making a reservation. The French atmosphere and food are really able to transport you out of Traverse City and into Europe. I would definitely recommend getting some beignets in addition to any meal, they’re light, warm and delicious. Everyone in our group was incredibly impressed with our food and the service was fantastic.

Have visited Brasserie Amie quite a few times for both brunch and dinner. The service can be a bit of hit or miss, but they did have a nice variety of coffee options. The Creme Brulatte was fantastic the first time I had it, but I’ve noticed that since then they haven’t been roasting the top enough. Overall, food quality is great! Menu can be a bit boring though so wish they had more specials. Overall, it’s easy to get reservations and a decent place to go for brunch or dinner.

Had a lovely, relaxing breakfast; felt like I was in old world Paris. A really nice menu! Had the omelet with brie and button mushrooms. Would have loved to try the escargot omelet but too early in morning.

It was delicious! The wait staff were very friendly. The Florentine eggs were so good. Honestly it was the best brunch I have ever had. Marked down one star cause our food took to long. It was easy to forgive.

The food was good but the wait was horrid and our server didn’t do much by way of checking in. We arrived at 10:40 AM on a Saturday as a group of 6, had a 80 minute wait for a table and another 75 minute wait for food! I have done long waits for seating before, but I have never waited that long for my food to arrive once seated in the restaurant. The place wasn’t even completely full at the time we were there so it was hard to understand how they could be so backed up. I understand some places have been understaffed, but I would’ve rather they told us up front that it would be a whole hour plus wait for food AFTER the 1.5 hour of waiting for a table. I don’t know if it had anything to do with us being seated in the back corner but I felt like we were forgotten about and our waitress didn’t even come over very often. I enjoyed the taste of my coffee and crepe but I would not come back.

What an experience!!! The food at Brassiere Amie was absolutely delicious. We had the bananas foster french toast with chantilly, croquet madam, and the tarte flambée. Oh my God, my mouth is watering is thinking about it! The portions were huge, not one of us finished our plate, worth every penny. The service was excellent and food times were impeccable for a Saturday afternoon brunch the weekend after Thanksgiving. They also had a delicious coffee menu as well. I recommend the crème brûlatte with the caramel crust (pictured). I can’t wait to come back to Traverse City just to try more of the menu!! The decor and sounds will make you feel as if you were in a cafe in Paris. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

Yes and yes!! This was the first place we ate when we visited Traverse City—and we were so spoiled because it’s one of the best. Our family is originally from France and this place felt like a return of sorts. The cod was perfect. And the morning Manhattan (yes, I had it at night) was the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Emily, was so friendly — she made the experience special from beginning to end. You won’t be disappointed with anything here. Tres bien!!!

This place is really cute, love the ambience. The Salmon was delicious. The vegetable soup was okay – too much salt. Eggs Benedict were very good; french toast was not! It was battered & deep fried! greasy! Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was very nice. I would go back.

Go. Here. Period. The food is absolutely incredible. Seriously good. Be prepared to wait, at 11am on a Sunday we waited 45 minutes for 2 people. Service could have been a little better but the food made up for it. We will be back.

A friend shared this Amazing place with me before she passed. One of Traverse City Best Kept Secrets! This was the cutest little place. Now that they moved the size of the restaurant has changed nothing else has. The food quantity and taste are still spot on. Staff was amazing and added to the brunch. This is a must visit location to place on your list when ever your in Traverse City!
