On a little get away with my husband and had the best experience here! First the inside is beautiful. I love the rustic/antique/cottage look. It’s feels so cozy and laid back here. Make sure you look at times cause they’re only open a few days a week, but it’s not summer yet. We started with the Duck Wontons and they where amazing!!! I had the Mahi Mahi and the pieces of fish were moist and delicious! Waitress and manager where very attentive! This is a MUST STOP!

They have the best French Onion soup! We ordered the bison steak and one with an added lobster tail for $12. The salad bar is lovely and so was their dessert! We tried the candied bacon creme brulee which was interesting although I liked the plain version better. They’re closed from 1st Jan until the weekend before Valentine’s.

I had looked forward to eating at this local legend, and while I was certainly not disappointed I was a little underwhelmed.

I loved the atmosphere, very quaint. Staff was very efficient. Our waitress was the only one but she was holding her own making sure everyone was alright. Hostess came a few times also asked if we needed anything. The food was very tasty. Portions were perfect. Not too much & not stingy either. I loved the salad bar. Very nice over all.

I’ve been dining at the Brass Lantern since 1976. In that time, they’ve only had two owner/operators. I’ve never had anything but great food, excellent service, and at reasonable pricing. Since the present owners took over many years ago, the menu has gotten much more diverse, the daily specials never disappoint, and of course their delicious salad bar and homemade dressings have never been better. I applaud the fact that the management and employees always welcome my family with open arms and always seem to give us the VIP treatment – regardless of how busy they may be! I’m so thankful they are just a short drive away, and hope they continue their dining legacy for many years to come!

What a fantastic dining experience top of line atmosphere in food and dining. These people here are the finest of anywhere I have ever seen. What shame I can only give them 5 stars, 10 would be more like it. Can’t wait to return again to see this family owned restaurant with this great dining experience, The steaks rate 10 stars along with the seafood. Service matches the food 10 stars along with the waitress

We were just passing through the town and decided to stop in and get some dinner, the food was phenomenal! The filets were delicious and very tender with delicious snap peas, baked potatoes, and grilled shrimp! The staff was very polite and nice. We have absolutely no complaints! Plus I got a margarita that was perfectly mixed… A+

Really good. Family of 4 enjoyed our time here. Everything we ordered was very good, from the cheeseburger and fries to pork flat iron and the sirloin steak to the salmon. The service was very attentive, drinks never was empty. Was asked several times if we needed anything and was everything good, not in a pestering way though. Definitely try the Brass Lantern if you havnt before.
