Fantastic craft BBQ! We were first in line at about 10:20 on Saturday morning. We tried a little of every meat they had along with potato salad, beans, jalapeno cream corn, and Texas Twinkies. Yes, the line gets long quick, yes you are going to wait, yes you pay for good BBQ and YES it is definitely worth it! This place is very new and they are giving a lot of our local youth (many of my former students and athletes) a chance to work. Be patient and kind and have a good time enjoying family, friends and great food.

I’ve been a customer since their food truck. The biggest improvement has been their sides! Most reviews start off with the main course, but their sides need to be mentioned first. I got mac & cheese along with jalapeño cream corn. Add some pepper to both options and it’s a perfect side. Don’t forget your Texas Twinkie. Their BBQ meats are just as delicious as when they were in the food truck. Brisket has lots of smoke and pepper. Very delicious. Jalapeño sausage is good, but not great (I will still get it). Glaze on the pork ribs is ideal. A delicious Texas Trinity. The only downside is waiting 45+ minutes in line. But hey that show biz, baby.

The brisket and ribs are especially delicious. The sides are great, from the mac and cheese to the coleslaw. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is laid-back and perfect for a relaxing meal. The prices are also very reasonable. Overall, Brantley Creek Barbecue is a must-try for anyone in the Odessa area. We highly recommend Brantley Creek Barbecue for a tasty meal. It’s a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends in a laid-back atmosphere.

Really the best Brisket and BBQ I have ever had, and they’re consistent. Yes, I’ve had Coopers, and love it. My only complaint now that they have an actual restaurant and it almost caused me to lose my cool. You get there early before they open, because the line gets long. I went during the week, typically I have went on the weekends. I was about the 20th person in line, by the time they started taking orders and putting food out, I was about 50th in line because so many people cut and jumped in line with work buddies, very infuriating after it happens again and again, but didn’t wanna be a Karen. So if you go be ready for a long wait and dealing with the line growing in front of you.

Love the Mac Daddy Pie! Crave it! Brisket and TX Twinkies are the best! Will not get BBQ from any where else in Odessa! Price fair for craft BBQ. Haven’t had the bar. So happy they are back.

When I go to a BBQ place for the first time, especially one that has some pretty good accolades, I have very high standards. I have to compare it to the champions I have already found. Places like the Salt Lick in Driftwood, Franklin’s in Austin, or even the Hslf Acre in Midland. The meats didn’t disappoint. Real nice smoke ring on the brisket. Nice jalapeño cheddar sausage. The TX Twinkie was very good. I was a bit let down by the green chili corn. Not much flavor and no green chili’s in what I got. The cobbler, although it had a decent flavor, was more of a dump cake with a liquid crust that had been caramelized on top. Overall it was a pretty good meal, I’ll have to try some different sides next time.

We did wait over an hour in line, but it was expected. Any restaurant that is brand new in this town will have wait so I went in expecting that. But this was definitely worth the wait, and isn’t your normal restaurant. This is genuine Texas Craft Barbecue. The chicken, turkey and ribs were sold out by the time we ordered but thats one of many reasons why my family and I will be back. Brisket and cheese jalapeño sausage were very good. The peach cobbler was the best. I will definitely be back and have been a supporter since you guys were out by the mall.
