We arrived about 530 pm on a Sat evening. It was busy but not slammed, there were a few empty tables. We were seated quickly and our order taken shortly thereafter. They were out of chicken and also out of brisket. Beverages arrived in just a few minutes but it was approximately 50 minutes before the food arrived. Pulled pork and ribs were both very good although room temperature, not hot. Slaw was good, green beans a little dry but still good. Roasted potatoes were heavily spiced with cumin, not very good to us.Our waitress, Emma was very good and attentive. Overall a good experience, hopefully improvements will come as they work out the kinks.

Great tasting food! Great service! The food to cost ratio is good. We got the 2 meat plate of pulled pork and brisket and a pulled port plate. Bbq is Memphis style and was delicious.

Rib and Brisket were delicious!! With slaw and beans, great traditional bbq meal. Also, the pork skins were fantastic!!Friendly folks at good prices. Definitely going back!!

Can i get an extra star for this place. It should be 6/5. This place is AMAZING. Thier food is always amazing and it never disappoint. The price is fair for the amount of food you are getting. This is the BEST place to get BBQ in all Sanford maybe even all NC. They also do catering which is pretty awesome!!!

Best BBQ I have ever had within North Carolina! Food is beyond amazing, the owners are so hospitable, and a dinner here won’t break the bank. I love the BBQ tacos and the smoked turkey. Do yourself a favor and try this place out, I guarantee you’ll come back.

This pulled pork is tender and juicy. No hush puppies but very good corn muffins. The slaw has a tasty ingredient I can’t pin down yet. The Lexington style sauce is excellent, I just prefer Eastern.

Wonderful customer service, friendly family. Delicious food! We got more than could eat in one sitting. Couldn’t decide the best. 😀 BBQ, brisket, rib rack, Mac n cheese, banana pudding. Yum yum yum! It is a must have when visiting Standford, NC.

Just ate here for the first time. I was not impressed. They get alot of really good reviews and I love BBQ, so I wanted to try this place out. I got a 2 meat combo of brisket and chicken breast. The brisket was a little smoky from the wood and I thought it was chewy. Could be from how they sliced it. The chicken was decent. Mac and cheese was ok and the green beans needed salt. Sweet tea needed more sugar. They also didn’t have banana pudding for dessert. Most bbq restaurants have that. All they had was pound cake and chocolate chip cookies. I know they work hard and I may like other stuff they have. But I personally don’t think people in lee county knows what true BBQ is.
