We have driven by this place countless times since we moved here in 2022, but it was always so busy and we are not huge fans of crowds. We showed up late for dinner to avoid this at 7:45 and it mitigated this significantly.

Enjoyed the combo meat platter with baked potato and upgraded to the salad bar. Haven’t tried the smokee bologna yet. Had a red white and blue fruity drink in honor of Memorial Day.

Place is beautiful no doubt about that but that was the best thing about this place. Place was semi busy but not bad for a week day. Staff was nice. Was sat immediately. I ordered the 12oz ribeye dinner with 1 trip to salad bar for 30 bucks . My mother got the teriyaki salmon and salad bar. Now the ribeye for 30 bucks…is lower end ribeye. I could get a better one at store for less. The sauted onions were very undercooked still very crunchy. And the salad bar was beyond basic not worth the extra few bucks. Now I will say the salmon was actually pretty good worth the price. The waitress was not to been seen sat with empty drink for awhile and when I finally saw her and asked for water took her 10 minutes to get to me. Other than that we really didn’t see our waitress and there were a few working so it wasn’t like she was alone. Overall not terrible but definitely wouldn’t be back.

Life is Good
This was our first time eating at the Branding Iron and we WILL be back! Great service from the time we walked in the door. Kayla did an excellent job! Food was delicious and we felt the prices were fair. Looking forward to our next meal here! Strongly suggest you check them out!

We went to The Branding Iron Restaurant & Saloon on our yearly vacation to the Ozarks. This is our usual stop of restaurants and let me tell you we were not impressed at all! Our waitress sat us at a small table (9 of us) the accommodation’s were tight, I didn’t say anything because the waitress that was sitting us was not pleasant in previous years, the atmosphere was loud (really loud). There was a group of older gentlemen having a great time drinking and just being loud, which was fine except we were not drinking and we wanted a nice quiet dinner with the family. I asked the waitress if we could please move to another table because they were too loud, she rolled her eyes at me and said I guess. Really that was rude! After we moved the waitress in question told the group of gentlemen we moved because you were loud! We will never be back, and I will tell anyone not to go there. The food was not that great and it is not all all somewhere I want to spend money to get treated like that.

Seems to be a very busy Restaurant that’s clean and has a nice atmosphere. They have a lot to choose from including, Steaks, Speciality Pizzas, Broasted Chicken, and More. The brisket meatloaf was good with instant mashed potatoes and baked beans. The Hawaiian Chicken was good with instant mashed potatoes and baked beans. Overall, good for the area.

I understand if you are short staffed but attitude is what brings a place together. After waiting 45 minutes for a burnt steak and a to go sandwich the owner just proceeded to tell me sorry that the 4th of July is amateur weekend at the lake. I live here and will never return.

Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, and our waitress was great. It’s a good place to stop with a larger group. Their menu has a variety of food choices, so everyone should find something they like.
