The food seemed very overpriced for what it was. My husband had gotten the shrimp which was two skewers and two side and that was $24. Seemed to me like a whole lot for not a lot of food.

Stopped by for lunch with my daughter on our road trip to Houston. Great food. The batter on the fries is fantastic. Liked the brick walls and atmosphere as well. Beware, driveway is crazy steep.

My son was getting married and we called Branding Iron prior to the event to ask if they could accommodate the rehearsal party for dinner even though we would be arriving 30 minutes prior to them closing. They agreed to serve us. When we arrived, our tables were set and the wait staff got right to work. Everyone was so friendly despite the chaos that a group of nearly 40 bring. Our drinks were always filled and our bread baskets were always full. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the chicken kabobs and the cod!

Classic MN Super Club. Excellent Manhattan and a nice bread basket. We shared frogs legs and a delicious burger and broiled walleye with wild rice. Wonderful food and service too. But the view is outrageous! Make a reservation and request a table by the big windows!

The Branding Iron is a place we go to when we want a nice, up scale, sit down experience. They handled our large group (15) with ease, and it was fun to see the variety of food served – their menu offers a lot of variety. If you are looking for an app other than cheese curds, the onion rings are fabulous! The grilled chicken club had tender and juicy chicken – would definitely order again. The Ruben received rave reviews as well. The Mahi mahi with pineapple salsa was excellent as well! An added bonus was the view – especially as the sun was setting.

The food was good, and the atmosphere reminded me of the fancy small town restaurants. I had the scallops with brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes, which were very good. They also have lobster tail!!! Burgers and steaks were also popular on their menu. Only thing I would complain about was the service was slow. There seemed to be enough staff and open tables to be waiting 15 mins for 4 drinks. Other tables that arrived after us were getting their drinks and ordering before us.
