The Bramble House is a little gem on Vashon Island. This little restaurant is great with both indoor and outdoor seating seating options, comfortable ambience, wonderful staff, and decent entree options. Parking is limited and you may potentially have to park in the grass (mud if it is precipitating).

Lovely romantic or just a getaway type of atmosphere. Phenomenal food, helpful friendly staff. We went for brunch and enjoyed the fresh squeezed mimosas and the bramble scramble and the duck chilaquiles- all were super tasty.

This place does a a LOT of things right. The food is downright PERFECTION. They take their time and use the best ingredients and execute amazing dishes. They do, however, run on island time. We’ve only visited (from NE King County!) for 3 meals, so I will update my review after visit # 4 (likely not for a few months – one can only handle so much “Vashon”), but on our first 3 visits, we’ve found the food preparation timeline to be strangely, oddly, weirdly slow. As in, for all 3 meals, there weren’t but 2 or 3 other couples in the entire restaurant, and the food took FOREVER to come out. There’s only so much attention you can get from your waitress – so many water refills, so many mimosas, so many glasses of wine, before you just want your damn food, already.

We were planning our first visit to Vashon Island and had done some research on where to go for dinner. Most websites ranked “Bramble House” very high on the list. So this was the only location we knew we must visit while we were on the island. We made reservations a few days in advance.

Amazing dining experience here! Visiting Vashon for a wedding and Bramble House came up on several lists so decided to see if we could get a reservation. Lucked out and they had space so we got to go. Everything was delicious, we had a nice Pinot Gris, the raviolo, mixed green salad, truffle garlic bread, patatas bravas, fettuccine bolognese and risotto. We just couldn’t pass up trying several dishes so went all in. Portions are generous and service was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! It was so good. Their Chef is so nice and gave us a tour of the kitchen. The layout is so nice and cozy, an open kitchen, nice lighting and great art.
