Food was tasty, but we were there before the lunch rush and couldn’t find a clean table. Seemed like the floors hadn’t been mopped, or tables wiped down for days. Sauce bottles sticky and half-filled, trash cans disgusting, sweet tea sugar in a nasty bucket on the floor with spilt sugar all around it. Just generally icky feeling dining experience. Made us wonder what the kitchen looked like.

The food has went downhill since Barry owned it. Got the pulled pork combo today & it was not very desirable at all. BBQ beans are nothing more than canned pork & beans. Potato salad lacked flavor. The pulled pork sandwich was more like chunked pork. Call Barry up & have him show you his method of cooking. Service was fine & restaurant was clean but the food needs some serious overhauling.

I’ve been here many times with no problems. Today 6/16/23 was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I got the smoked wings with an add on of burnt ends. The wings were not smoked at all and had no dry rub on them, super chewy. (Im pretty sure they baked them in the oven and called it good.) The burnt ends were even worse. Im pretty sure they cooked a chuck roast, cut it in cubes and called it burnt ends. It tasted like what I would imagine tree bark taste like covered in way too much BBQ sauce. 0/10

Ordered food from work as a group and salads were awful. Several of the ingredients in the salad were left out, the spring mix (which is not what it list on the menu) was old and brown and chicken was hard and dry. Could not eat the salads. Most of us had to throw them away. Listed grape tomatoes on menu and had 2 thin slices of tomato with it. Very disappointed and had to go without lunch today.

In town from Miami for the day and was told to come here for lunch from a local. Didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing. Had their pulled pork sandwich, homemade chips and bake beans. They have an assortment of sauces on the table. I had the Hot & Spicy mixed with the Carolina. The staff is so incredibly polite and friendly. Definitely has a hometown vibe where the customers know the people who work here. I only stopped in for a few minutes to grab a bite, but glad I did. Definitely better than the mainstream restaurants in the area.

I really didn’t want to give just one star, but yesterday I got 1/4 rack of ribs – $10- that was hard and burned and evidently they cooked them in SUGAR!! WTH?? I’ve never had a nastier one bite of ribs in my life! Please don’t ruin the ribs with sugar! I expected the ribs to be just as good as the pulled pork. NOTE TO SELF: NEVER GET RIBS AT BRAEDEN’S BBQ!!!
