Came here for breakfast and it was pretty good. The staff is friendly. We had to wait 15 ish minutes or so for our table which wasn’t bad at all. Boyfriend said green chili was mild. Not sure if they have hot. Over-all, he said it was good. Just needed to be spicier. There’s a cool waterfall outside and outside seating. I believe it was a longer wait to sit outside so we just sat inside. Chicken fried steak was thin but filling, the potatoes were cut differently (I didn’t finish them) the eggs were good.

It’s been a bit since we visited Bowles Cafe. This visit was very odd. It took us about 25 minutes to get seated which was no big deal considering they were busy on a Saturday morning. Once we sat, we noticed the table was dirty and the booth area had leftover food on the ground. The waitress was very attentive taking our order, but once the food was delivered we never saw her again. I had cold coffee and my wife had an empty drink. Service and food were definitely mediocre at best. Will try it again in a couple of months.

Food was really good and service was great. Baby knocked over my wife’s Bloody Mary which she had already drank half of. They immediately helped clean it up and brought another drink for free. Totally our fault and I would have paid for another one. Will be back regularly.

I don’t understand how this place has such good reviews. The restaurant, staff, and food are all the same just enough to get by. The staff aren’t rude but don’t seem to care which explains why it isn’t clean. The food was ok the hashbrowns are more like crispy overly mashed potatoes and the homemade gravy was just bad.

If you’re going to close for 18 days, you REALLY should make it so that Google reflects this. Shows open for normal business hours, but a sign on the door says otherwise (closed 7/1-7/18 for vacation)…..

I go there almost every Sunday now, and have not had a bad meal yet! Very friendly and helpful staff! Get there early because it gets crowded quick!

Sign on the door says they’re closed for almost 2 weeks. Nothing on Google or Facebook indicated this, so of course I show up to a closed restaurant after double-checking their hours on Google. Rude!
