A coffee shop located in downtown Lawrenceville. I’ve been in Historic Lawrenceville plenty of times, even was a server at Universal Joint, a burger bar just around the corner. Meet with a coworker over coffee to catch up on life. The place itself is very relaxing. The business is in a historic home preserved & transformed into a neat homie coffee shop. It’s a weekday when I came here. Families, kids, and young adults seems to be the majority of the customer. Really interesting place.

Awesome coffee shop! We stopped in while on vacation to try something different from the regular big corporate coffee houses we always go to. The place has an great vibe with a nice variety of options. The staff was ultra helpful and very friendly. They even suggested something new to try when I was undecided. I highly recommend the “Warm Hug” coffee drink. We didn’t try anything to eat but it looked good from what we saw people ordering. And breakfast is all day so that was a nice option. They even have some gluten-free options. Overall we’re glad that we stopped in and we will definitely be back the next time that we come through the area.

Cute, cozy cafe with parking right outside outside and lots of seating inside. The menu was kinda confusing because the “flavors” board just said nutella and didnt indicate if it was coffee or what. The bakery items were giant with fair prices- the brownie from starbucks is probably 4x smaller than this one. The coffee was good, but it had mocha and hazelnut syrup instead of actual nutella- kinda gimmicky. Overall, i enjoyed it. Not just overpriced sugary ice w a splash of coffee.

I have been going to Boulder Creek for over ten years, dating back to the original location. I have stopped going because the iced drinks aren’t as good as they used to be. Their food and hot drinks are excellent but I drink iced coffee about 99% of the time. As others have observed, the cold brew is very diluted. A small amount of cream turns it nearly white and undrinkable. I also think that the beans being used for the cold brew are some of Counter Culture’s lower cost beans, instead of the more premium options that were previously used that were outstanding. I saw this because the bean packages match those that I’ve seen in grocery stores and not the more premium beans that I believe you can only get from the supplier. I suspect that’s why the hot coffee tastes better since those are still single origin and not the generic bean blends. The iced shakers used to be their staple iced drink that was a fan favorite but it’s not what it used to be. It was a fan favorite but they changed the way they make it a few years ago. You can order it the original way but it’s not quite as good as it used to be for some reason. Overall, $6 for average to below average iced coffee isn’t a value proposition that I’ll be buying. Their iced coffee used to be the best you could get anywhere and I will quickly return to being a frequently customer if they return to their former quality.

Solid food, service and location. Tried the avocado toast and the mocca drink, both were solid. Also tried a latte with caramel and there was a taste that was flowery and i particularly did not enjoy. I really like the lighting. It’s got a really nice porch for those who like to sit outside.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews for local businesses, but how can I support if I’m literally not being acknowledged walking in. I almost wanted to walk out because the vibe was unwelcoming.. Don’t get me wrong the last time I was here the other workers were so nice. I wanted to come support again today, but I wasn’t acknowledged for a couple minutes while I was clearly standing in front of the employees. I mean I was the only customer there so you can clearly see me. It’s not hard to say hello or I’ll help you in a second, especially when you aren’t doing anything but having a conversation. It sucks because I really liked their drinks, but I’m not gonna stand around to have someone take my order then wait even longer for a drink to be made while watching other people get treated nicer. No thank you

Was here tonight for an event with multiple bands and the coffee shop was closing early and made folks leave the building been though they had a whole event. Seemed crazy to have over 100 customers there and they decided to close.

It’s such a cozy place to have breakfast with your love or BFF. Coffee and hazelnut espresso were so delicious. So was the toast. Their pastries are giant sizes..it’s mouth-watering. The banana nut bread was good and moist, just a tad too sweet for my liking but still yummy. I enjoyed the porch swing, I thought it was so cozy.. I imagined it would be so nice to go at night when the string lights are lit. Lots of other restaurants and shops are within walking distance to enjoy after a bite.

Fabulous place to dine, get coffee and get work done! I’ve been coming to this place for over five years since it was at the Mall of Georgia location and I must say they have definitely improved the location. It has a really nice feel to it! I think the house was built in the late 1890s if I remember correctly and has a very vintage feel to it. The staff is always open and friendly (please see photos), they love what they do, and you’re not treated like a number, sadly the experience most of the time at Starbucks. The baristas know their stuff and are trained well. The place is almost always packed and many many many regulars are there on a regular basis. (No pun intended). You go long enough, the place feels like home! You can’t get that feeling at your local Starbucks. The coffee is always a cut above most of the other independent coffee shops as well. Everyone has their own preferences but to me, there really is no comparison (I personally recommend the vanilla latte) and the menu is also very eclectic and extensive. They have a grilled chicken parmesan marinara sandwich they referred to as The Godfather and it is unbeatable! Better marinara sauce than any legitimate Italian restaurants that I’ve been to and that’s saying something! Even better food than Panera bread and American deli! (More of a variety as well.) Perhaps even better than that is their Friday night entertainment. Local artists such as Rebecka Moreno among many others got their start at this very place! This coffee shop is not the number one coffee shop in Gwinnett for nothing!
