Really impressed with the BBQ. The ribs were very moist with the perfect little tug to remove from the bone. The sauce was on the side as it should be when the meat is that well prepared. Sides were great with the beans and spicy mac&cheese the stars at our table. Staff was very friendly and the food was ready quickly. Limited parking behind the building but street parking was available too. It was pretty busy at 1PM on a Wednesday with most of the indoor tables in use and half of the outdoor picnic tables were busy.

Never had giant beef ribs outside of the Portland area, so this was my first. I gotta say already the best beef ribs I’ve had hands down. Bark was perfect, smoke ring perfect, flavor was on point, juicy, peppery, fall off the bone amazing. If you ever come to Portland, put that in your list

Classic bbq place. Nice vibe. Wonderful flavors. We split the 3 meat tray-plenty of food. Potato salad is bright and beans-I could have had just those for dinner and felt super happy. Somewhat limited tap, but that’s okay. It pairs perfectly.

Saw beautiful pics online and decided to try them out. First time out there was a sign stating “sold out, see you next time” and that made us want to return. Yesterday was a treat. Service was a little slow as it is a two person shop but the food was really good. Some of the best BBQ we’ve had in Portland. Delicious ribs – and tender turkey and flavorful sausages. Fair prices. We will be back!

Good first experience at Botto’s. A friend from St. Louis who knows BBQ recommended it. Not inexpensive but worth it. Friendly staff, calm no-frills inside, counter service but they still come around and check on you here and there.

Well hot dang. Being a born n’ raised Texan, I’m pretty picky about my BBQ. This is the best I’ve had here in Oregon so far. The fatty brisket was phenomenal. (I can also appreciate the option of lean and fatty brisket). The kielbasa was snappy and flavorful. And the ribs were killer! Baked mac and beans were good sides. And my favorite part, RC on the fountain! Would definitely come again if I got a hankerin for good BBQ.

Our new favorite BBQ place in Portland! Just got take out from here and had it with the family… The brisket is just next level beyond fantastic! The ribs and the honey BBQ burnt ends. Oh yeah… oh so good. We got the mac & cheese and collards with sweet potatoes. Just a wonderful compliment to the overall BBQ experience from Botto’s! This IS our new go to place for BBQ and thank goodness it is a relatively short drive from our home to do take out. We ended up doing an online order for pick up and 5pm and it was starting to get busy when we arrived to do the pick up. You can dine in as well now there as they have inside seating and outside for when the weather is nicer.

This bbq joint was right down the road from where we were staying and it was phenomenal. The staff was really friendly and the food was out of bounds. The Mac and cheese was incredibly creamy and the meats were all flavorful, juicy, and tender. I can’t wait to go back.

These guys nail good BBQ! We had a large group and showed up late in the day, so some items had already sold out, but everything that was left was amazing. Brisket was melt-in-your-mouth. Excellent quality meat, bark was perfect, super tender… Mac and cheese was flavorful, pasta cooked nicely. Each of the excellent sauces had their own unique place in the meal. Highly recommended this place, would love to see these guys succeed, def be back for more.!
