Place was nice. Waiter was initially very attentive and reaponsive to us. We ordered one red and one lavender sangria. The red was delicious, but the lavender not as much. It seemed watered down and lacking any flavor. We ordered three tapas, morcillas, buñuelos de bacalao and el duo empanadas. The morcilla (blood sausage) was very good, but they padded the plate with what seemed like half an sauted onion. The buñuelos (cod fritters) were equally delicious and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. The empanadas were on the small side, one was mushrooms and the other aas chicken. They were both good and the sauce (seemed like chimichurri) did enhanced the flavor. We also decided to order the paella botero. When they say it will take 45 minutes, they really mean it. If you are even considering ordering any of the paellas, make sure you order it early. The paella was good (have had much better elsewhere), but the rice was shallow and burnt on the bottom (the whole rice dish tasted smoked) the meats and seafood were adecuate but it seemed like they were counted. We got 2 mussels, 4 pieces of chicken, 4 pieces of pork/meat (it was very tough, but tasty) 8 shrimps (not the listed head-on prawns) and no clams to be seen. I usually dont pay attention to the number of items in my food, but this was way too obvious. I personally do not think it was worth the price they charged for the paella. The tapas were reasonable and we probably should have stuck with just tapas. I would definitely go back for the tapas, but will not order the paella again. In general it was a nice dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, dimmly lit with nice music. At the end we wanted to leave, but our waiter was nowhere to be seen. After what seemed like an eternity, he came over to check on another table and I caught his attention to get our bill.

The food was good. There isn’t many options for kids so definitely suggest this being a date night spot. The server picked our wines based on what we said we liked and he matched them perfectly. The paella was good and had a lot of flavor! The crab bisque was okay but got cold quickly and that ruined the flavor. Overall this is a good spot for only adults. It isn’t very kids friendly.

What a nice surprise in downtown Boerne! The tapas brought me back to southern Spain. The portions were perfect for sharing with a couple or groups. Great Spanish wine list and sangria options as well! We loved the ceviche, the lobster roll, and the papas bravas. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive as well.

Great service. From the time we arrived we were greeted by the owner. Very good selection of Tempranillo wines. The food was delicious. The black paella is a must. Chef came to our table to explain their versión of this style of paella. Will have to try to come back on a Saturday when there is live music.

Loved this place! My friend and I showed up 30 minutes before closing and we told the kitchen was closed but not only were we greeted but the owner and our waitress Jasmine took amazing care of us and ended up making us some of their amazing food! A definite must-try, very friendly and awesome customer service!

Truly enjoyed Botero, we just happen to pass by and decided to try it. What a great place for wine and tapas. We had sangria and a cheese platter. Both of which were so good, along with great music on the sound system. We ordered a fantastic desert and were surprised with some live music. We will be back and highly recommend you go too!

Cute little place. Nice staff. Prices are a little high but it is typical in this area. Decent wine and food. However the “prawns” on the menu was not what I was expecting. A little on the small side
