We happened to be in the area and decided to drop in for dinner. Everything on the menu is offered via share plate experience (which is one of our favorite ways to dine). We started out with the deviled eggs and the mushroom toast and I got a refreshing cocktail “Spanish G&T”. Then we ordered the Lamb Lollipops, the Crab Cake, and also the Skirt Steak. Everything was SO GOOD! My cocktail was refreshing and botanical and who doesn’t love a gorgeous purplish-pink cocktail? We then finished up with a Smoked Tiramisu. Every dish was flavor-forward and every single bite had us reaching for more! My husband said that the skirt steak was the best he’s ever had… perfect texture and flavor. You can tell that every dish was created with skill and intention with flavor in mind. We can’t wait to come back here again!

Best meal I’ve had in years. Pernil and Summer Salad. Perfect service from Robert. His timing and anticipation of guest needs was on point. He is great at reading individual guest needs. He provided personalized and detailed recommendations to people who he could tell wanted that, and customized service for others like myself who didn’t need as much interaction.

Amazing dining experience! Highly recommend. We stayed in Saugatuck and it’s well worth crossing the bridge to check this place out. Can’t wait to return our next visit! ☺️

Our first time here! We really enjoyed the shareable plates because it gave us a chance to sample a variety. We had the brussel sprouts, lobster gnocchi (our fave of the evening), bison meatballs, and pork belly. Of course we saved room for dessert too, for which we ordered an apple cake with peanut butter frosting. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and overall a great experience!

Borrowed time is a wonderful gem to experience. The servers are super knowledgeable and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The food… DELICIOUS. We had 5 dishes, and everything was so beautifully curated with impeccable flavors. The burrata, and cauliflower Al pastor were definitely top tier dishes! The drinks were also incredible. 10/10 would recommend.

We ended up here on a whim and it was such a pleasant surprise. For two of us, we shared 4 plates (chef’s board, crab cake, pernil and halibut) and a dessert (carrot cake). Each plate was equally as good – we could not choose a favorite. My husband was worried about portions but left very satisfied. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was extraordinary – from our main server to the bartender, everyone was very attentive. We dined inside and surprisingly, it felt very intimate, given the space and tall ceilings. This was such a great find for us and we will definitely be back on future trips.

Host was friendly, but we were told to scan a QR code to order drinks. QR code site wouldn’t connect, we had to beg for a menu, and no one was around to take our order. We left; didn’t feel like chasing somebody down to take our order. People are great, food has been great in the past, and they were very busy, but the system didn’t work. This review is about the ordering system only.

We ate everything on our plates. It was sooo good. It is tapas style. We ordered 4 plates to share between the two of us. We spent $100. There was live music and they were just the right volume. Sometimes live music prevents discussion but they did not. These guys played some good covers. I didn’t catch their names but it was 2 guys on guitar. You should call ahead, but we were lucky and happened to get the only available table left. The skirt steak is good. You only get 1 crab cake to split (we were very sad about that), and the pork with saffron rice was yummy. We also got the cauliflower dish which was good but didnt compare to the other 3.
