The food tasted exactly the same from East Harlem Puerto Rican restaurants! Got so excited about how delicious their alcapurrias were! Was pleasure getting to know the owner

We were visiting the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. The atmosphere is not defined. It seems the owners want to have a bar, nightclub, and family restaurant all at the same time. The A/C was broken and the Texas heat made it unpleasant. They will put some salsa music and every couple of minutes they’ll skipped the songs making it annoying. The restroom didn’t have soap nor paper towels. At least, the food was somewhat good but the prices weren’t right. They could improve they service by a 100. The overall experience wasn’t the best. If you’re visiting the area, stay away from here.

Absolutely terrible. This place is laughable at best. Dark, dingy, cluttered, no air and to top it off they had a kid peeling vegetables with a file on one of the tables. Disgusting. Didn’t even try the food, as they gave me a paper bag filled with fried foods and the entire bag was a bag of grease. Threw it right in the trash as i don’t need or want salmonella. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Is it a bar, a club, restaurant? Wow this was by far one of the worst places I have been too. What a waste of time and money.

The appetizers were ordered were: empanadilla de pizza (excellent!) sorullo de maiz (great!) alcapurria (it was bland)

It seems hard to find authentic Puerto Rican food on this part of town, but I was impressed and will definitely go back! The habichuelas were yummy and my family loved the breakfast sandwiches on the puerto rican bread.

Great place to come and enjoy “antojitos” from Puerto Rico. Food is great and the staff is very friendly. Food might take a little while because it’s fresh and hot. I’ll take that any day as I like my food just made. Come and give them a try.

Up and coming place. They are still learning how to run a restaurant but the service and food were both fantastic! I am happy to support the Puertorrican community.
