This restaurant has the touch of god. I have never been sad at The Border, even crying in the booth feels happy when I’m here. Can not stress this enough. I’m here twice a week at least. They have the friendliest staff ever and always take care of us. The cheese dip and fries combo is unbeatable and nothing is better that a burrito on a rainy day. If I could give ten stars I would. If you’re looking for an alright meal with some average service, this isn’t the place. I was and am blown away every time I am here. I will be in this restaurant every semester until I graduate, and I’m more likely to come back to visit The Border than I am to visit my family. 11/10

I had a craving for Mexican food so I suggested this location. My wife enjoyed our meal the last time we ate here so she did yes. I ordered the Combination (3 burritos). My wife ordered the Texas-style Cheese Dip (steak, shrimp, chicken). Everything came out quickly. Very tasty and hot. Just what I was looking for. We also ordered a large cheese dip for the complimentary chips. I would highly recommend this location. If you are in the area, give them a try!

Came in for dinner. Sat for 30 minutes nobody came and asked us if we wanted a drink, ask if we had been waited on or anything. Guy handing out chips and salsa came around once. When he passed back by, at about our 30 minute marker, we asked for more chips and were ignored. We asked 3 different servers if we could be helped , the third guy pretty much told us he had more important customers, and it would be awhile until we could be helped. Which didn’t make sense because his “Big Party” had each of their meals. He was very rude and unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend coming to the Border. Very disappointed with tonight’s events.

Only redeeming quality was the price. Everything else left something to be desired. The food was sub-par, service was slow and inattentive despite us being one of the few tables with customers. Will likely not return until some serious changes happen.

The place is like a maze. The entrance is difficult for newbies to find. The salsa was bland. The plates were hot but the food was cold! The server was nice and the decor felt authentic but we won’t be going back.

I work during the day and then go to night school classes at UWG. I normally go eat at the UWG dining hall before class but decided to switch things up. Googled the closest mexican resturaunt and found The Border. I had the chicken Soup and the street corn. It was delicious. The service was exceptional. I went into my class happy and focused.

I frequent this restaurant often. I am usually with my co-workers. I have never had service like I did on Friday 2/17/23. My best friend and I went in to dine and catch up and we both ordered a drink. My friend took one little sip and did not like the drink and wanted to send it back. The server who was a very sweet young lady went and got the Owner/manager and he came to the table and was VERY rude to my friend. Instead of listening to her complaint he became very defensive. I thought that was very unprofessional! Due to this experience I will NEVER dine at this establishment again and I will let my friends, family, and co-workers the same. We left and went to another Mexican restaurant which all the other establishments were full and thriving with customers, unlike the Border who had maybe 5 guests in the entire restaurant. I wonder does the poor management have anything with the lack of a crowd for a Friday night. Wish I could give 0 stars!
